Wow, Could we Possibly Lower the bashing a Bit?

I genuinely feel sorry for the guy. He's not the only person on the Eso Balancing Team and quite a few of his decisions aren't half as terrible as people make them out to be. I know it's very easy to make jokes and, at this point he's become almost some kind of meme but I don't think it's fair at all for hundreds of people to continuously bash him. And no matter what people say words can hurt.

It would be like you playing Eso with hundreds of people standing behind you constantly telling you that you suck, and your doing it wrong and you should quit the game for ever. Just because balance can be quite bad at times and you don't always understand decisions behind skill changes doesn't automatically give you the right to knock the *** out of someone.

Welcome to the ESO community. They're pretty much as rude as it comes.

This is the community which were demanding developers lose their jobs because they changed things people didn't like.

Actually, the game class balance isn't as terribly balanced as you make out to be. And don't talk to me as if I'm new here, I've been here since closed beta so sit your ass down.

Wrobel knows what he's doing.. just look on long-run
the problem is that players cannot be controlled like NPCs or robots, thus tricks/exploits/unintended mechanics/cheats/bugs abusing and what not will still makes their way into the game, so it is everywhere else.
perfect balance is just not exist.. even until today- why you think we still get updates on windows 10/nvidia drivers/ java/flash updates,, there is no perfection to be reached, just minor improvements here and there.

What have you been doing the entire time? PVEing vs computer controlled mechanics? That's the only way someone could be dim enough to think this game is balanced.

People don't like it when the playstyle they've spent some time working on, the one that though trial-and-error they have found to be the one that gives them the most joy, gets ripped away from them. And they need someone to blame.

His job description is basically "killer of fun." He'd have to have a pretty thick skin to take the job in the first place.

Combine that with the fact that ZOS's bizarre "regularly communicating with the community is something to avoid at all costs" philosophy makes it that much easier for people not to treat him like a real person.

High damage proc sets annoyed me, I didn't think it could get any worse than a design where armor did more damage than abilities. Then Eye of the Storm took over PvP. Nothing says "we're serious about improving server performance" like a high damage AoE ultimate quickly adopted by a huge portion of the player base because it does great damage over a large area that's unblockable.

ZoS staff take so much abuse on here, but that's nothing new on mmo forums. I'm sure they don't take anything an anonymous keyboard warrior has to say to heart.

I don't understand your view of disbalance, I played every class extensively both pvp and pve except stamina templar, I had great time with all of them. I also saw other dominant players of each class (yes even magica dk). I think you have hard time in pvp in general but that is not so called balance related, I am sorry if i guessing it wrong? Can you clarify what is not balanced in your ayes?

I like the guy. He talks funny and make nice jokes. Balance is getting better. People who say the contrary are just attached to some OP, broken or just too powerful feature on some skills.

Besides he and his team are the ones comming up with the combat system in this awesome game. When i don't like something I leave but I've been around for 3 years in ESO so he gets his job done, in my case.

Some things about classes that are just flat out better skills compared to other classes (Like Hurricane compared to Spiked Armour, Curse being flat out better than Unstable Core etc)

But as I said, balance issues doesn't give people the right to treat someone like crap.

And Everquest 1 still isn't balanced as far as classes go. You're going to be angry for 25 years?
