Official crown prices for homes

On eso live gave these prices for unfurnished crown homes

Apartments - 1000
Small - 3100 to 4000
Medium - 5000 to 6500
Large - 7500 to 8500
Manor - 10,000

Congrats to everyone who predicted zos would be greedy. Probably my last post for a while because there isnt anything for me in ESO for three months.

Those prices are in Crowns I take it?

Houses aren't worth anywhere near that much with no additional storage.

Looks like my Wife and I will simply fork out the Gold for a Medium Home, and my Guild will have to wait til sometime in 2040 when ZOS gets around to adding in Guild Halls proper... because there's no way my Guild can afford enough Houses to accommodate the whole Guild. >:(

To be honest, a lot of people were guessing around 10k crowns for the bigger ones.

Everyone gets a free apartment, don't they? If you don't want to spend crowns or gold on a big one, you can still participate in the content and build stuff in your apartment.

You're leaving because you don't like the crown prices and consider ZOS greedy? There is always the grindy gold option. You don't HAVE to buy a house. At the moment houses are just another way to show off your cool stuff. I perosnally will settle for a medium home(the orc medium one is really good value imo). So I'm pleased at 5000-6500 crowns.

This is actually reasonable. When you consider the prices for mounts and other things in this game, it wouldn't make sense for the manors to cost 5500 like many people wanted. Houses should be more expensive, and I'm surprised they're not tbh. I'm going to buy Strident Springs Demesne with crowns and furnish it with the 1.3 mill gold I've acquired. Thanks for not being too greedy this time zos.

10k for the manor was expected now I know alot of people were complaining about how people will just buy the manors to get the titles. This price will stop a lot of us just doing that.

Think of it this way...Zos is laying out the welcome mat for lazy people with money. While you or I would logically spend in game gold than spend literally over a hundred dollars on crowns for homes that aren't that different than in-game buildings, honestly a fairly lazy design effort and amusing that Zos had the nether's to go there so boldly, there are people who have impulse disorders, whether be from laziness or legitimate mental illness, and they throw their money at Zos like a moth to flame because it is instant gratification to obtain the newest prettiest things.

It's funny, people were saying 10k crowns, community managers read the forum, decided that most players find it reasonable and there you have it

Yall needed to say 5500 crowns for manors and be like "wow and even that's too high to pay for 1 house if a DLC costs that much". But that ship has sailed. You brought upon yourself showing them you're ready to accept that price for a manor.

This is insulting. Just because you don't wish to spend your money on this, doesn't mean others are "lazy" or have "a mental illness." Some of us have disposable income to use on entertainment purposes, and if we wish to spend that money it's not right to berate us for that. Personally, I expected even higher crown prices for housing. Additionally, it's not like it's P2W, AND it can be purchased with in-game gold.

TL;DR- Don't judge others for spending their money on cosmetic items that can be purchased with gold anyway.

The manor price is FROM 10,000 crowns. some manors could cost more than that.

So Furnished houses will probably be about an additional 5000 Crowns for a Manor? Yeah that's pretty disgusting. 10k Crowns for a furnished manor sounds reasonable. But an empty house.. um no. *** you ZOS. Maybe it works where you live, in the middle of damn nowhere ZOS. But people who live on the east coast and west coast already pays 2-3k for a one bedroom apt. $100 for an ingame house is crazy. Nah I rather use that money on my actual house.

These prices are about what I expected - more than I'd be willing to pay but not so insane I won't believe anyone would pay it.

And that's fine with me, I was planning to use gold anyway.

There's only about 10,000g difference between the gold prices for the manors (not a lot when you consider they're almost 4mil each) so it wouldn't surprise me if we see a similar difference in the crown prices. I doubt it's going to be like 10,000 for Serenity Falls and 20,000 for Ebonheart.

Seems perfectly reasonable to me. The manors aren't supposed to be for everyone. If they intended for everyone to be able to afford the manors through gold/crowns then what would the purpose of smaller houses even be? Obviously the nicest, most elite manors were going to be pricey and owned by very few. No reason to be all angry if you can't afford one.

The small houses are surprisingly quite cheap (3100 is less than tons of mounts even) and the medium homes are just about 3-4 months of ESO plus crowns. And, of course, if you don't want to pay crowns you can always buy them for gold.
