Ciirenas the Shepherd taking very little damage

Ciirenas the Shepherd in VR Fungal Grotto seems to have God mode turned on. The boss was taking very little damage.
On a VR 14 Sorc Crushing Shock was doing single digit damage (tooltip is 150) to this boss. Mage's Wrath was popping for a combine damage of less than 100 when the boss' health was below 20%. The fight was more about patience and endurance than anything else. Something is terribly broken with this fight.

✭✭✭It's not a bug, it's her mechanics. Don't *** her off by killing her spiders and she'll be just as vulnerable as any other boss;)
Spiders can be really annoying now, but fortunately, they're CC-able.2 -

That's a cute mechanic but it makes the boss annoying. Not difficult. So I dont see the point really except to waste your time.1
