What is the point in Inner Light revealing targets at 5m

When gap closers like Ambush work from 22 meters away? By the time a Nightblade is inside 5m you're already stunned and half health before you have a chance to react if your not insta-gibbed by proc sets. Does anyone else think it should be increased to at least something like 10-15m which is still less range than gap closers have?

Use Radiant magelight if you want a more prevantative ability. Inner Light is most useful to prevent escapes - use it right on top of them when you think they are going to try and run, and they won't be able to stealth or cloak for 6 seconds.
