Made a thread about this already. Most of the people in there didn't believe or, or rather, refused to believe me. Until a nice fellow posted a video proving what I was trying to argue. I went to go play my Khajiit, and noticed he had a gem on his forehead, that wasn't there before. I never made him with that gem. I found out that gem came as a set with a nose ring that he also had. But they weren't together when I first made him.

I have a picture of my Khajiit and the video that was posted showing the nose ring without the forehead gem. I would very much like these changed reverted. I haven't even been able to play my Khajiit because of this. This isn't the character I created.

    They won't remove the head gem. You can either unequip the adornment through the Crown Store, wear a headpiece to hide it or try to put up with it. Those are your options I'm afraid, dude.

    It's not spamming. It's a legitimate concern. So unless they want me to "bump" my thread, which I know they don't like. I will will keep making a new one :)

    No. I shouldn't be forced to make a new toon because it was changed AFTER I made him. If they want to change adornments and other appearances, sure. But don't change crap that's already in game.

    Also, just because a character isn't lv50, doesn't mean people don't put time and effort into those characters. YOU don't get to decide how valuable MY time is.

    You are not a special snowflake even tho you would like to be. This complaint is petty. Takes all of 2 hours or so to make a new toon and get back to lvl 12 lol. Its a black cat...nothing special or unique about your toon. Just reroll and get on with your life. Or, keep up your crusade that will never change anything cause no one but you cares about this.

    You see, the problem with reverting it now is that I'm sure there were people who picked this adornment after the change and who like it the way it is, now. Me, for example. While I wouldn't hate if they removed the gem, I like it on my Khajiit.

    A better option would be to add another adornment that was just a nose ring, in my opinion.
    Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

    Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
    Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
    Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
    Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
    Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
    Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
    Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
    Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
    Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
    Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

    Your character, being such a low level, could easily begin leveling all 3 armor classes so you can have Undaunted Mettle. You can easily get a hood in light or a medium helmet that looks awesome if heavy helmets are an eyesore. There are other options YOU can do that don't revolve around changing the game.

    Changing...the game. What exactly am I "changing"? It was perfectly fine before. There were ZERO reasons to make this change to begin with. Both of those adornments were separated before, and they decided to link them together. Why? It's a pointless change. All this does it REMOVE some of a player's customization.

    One of many, little buddy :). Another is the sheer amount of toxic players that have migrated here over the last few months. For example, the ones using terms like "special snowflake".

    I do not know if some of the adornments have been changed. I don't make characters that often to notice, but I do agree that it is annoying to have a flaw in a character after you've spent so much time fine-tuning their appearances in the poorly lit and non-animated character creation screen. There are little flaws that don't show up until you play the game for a bit and there's a big paywall to make very minor adjustments. Feels like we should have one hour or so of time to go back and make edits after starting a new character.

    In another thread of mine, I suggested for the numerical values of our character creation screen to be displayed so we can copy and paste those numbers to recreate the characters the same and fix the adjustments if we do reroll, rather than basically starting from scratch every time. https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/261607/suggestion-character-creation-values#latest

    I would 100% buy that. If people like the forehead gem, and even if they like the gem and ring together, that's fine. But there really should be an option to have them both together, OR separated. And I would definitely pay for an appearance change if that were possible.
