    Neither is an insult.

What's insulting is how badly you and so many others missed the point by a mile.

So enlighten us. What is the point of this thread?

Because what it looks like to me, is that the OP suddenly came to the obvious realisation that the meaning and use of certain words change over the course of time, followed by him explaining this change specifically concerning the word 'tryhard'.

Now my question ís: Who asked for this knowledge? What does it contribute?

    I'm just like:

It contributes perspective on the motivations of certain philosophies and their effect on the people around you.

What you -do- with that information, whether it be sit and stare in a friggin stupor like that Gif, or if you take the time to ponder it and learn, is up to you.

Information is information, and knowledge is power. If I discounted anything I never asked for out of hand, I'd never have grown a inch intellectually. But that's your perogative.

I do appreciate philosophy, but I don't think it has a place on the ESO forums.

Coming from someone who often calls peoples names or insults them when they dont agree with him on a video game forum. You never really struck me as the deep philisophical mind in search of bettering himself through knowledge.

    B[SNIP]

I dont -dismiss- philosophy where it becomes practical, and this is. I think alot of people (And the designers for that matter) could learn that not everything needs to be about the end result, but geting there. Otherwise, this sort of mentality and it's effect becomes widespread. We have actually seen it manifest greatly with the changes to group content in One Tamriel. I'd like to see it injected more into the design philosophy. Make it good and fun to play instead of 'hard as a brick wall", which I've found has been my primary problem with the philosophy with repeatable content from Craglorn forward.

I could talk for hours about the problems I have with the design in this game and the apparent philosophy behind it. (I do by no means have a crystal ball and know what the staff of Zenimax Online thing) but it'd derail the thread. For now, that's the basic upshot of what you could take from the post.

All of your posts are a few notches shy of being entirely incoherent and I have no idea what your actual point is.

This video was gutwrenching to watch, why did this guy use music with lyrics in the background. That's some uhh, yeah. Genius 10/10 echs dee.

I think I have ascertained what you wanted to try and get across from the video however. The problem is that League of Legends is amuch more balanced environment than TESO, it's solely focused on pvp with characters that have defined ranges of stats and static gear meant to be obtained in the space of a half hour to hour long match. At the end of the day a nonmeta, hell a bottom tier champion, is probably much much more effective than a random dashing of spells and gear that some folks playing this game toss together.

Folks can cry about the meta all they want, and yes sometimes someone finds something really odd that ends up working, but it moreso boils down to the stats and strategies that are powerful than individual gear pieces that change patch by patch. You also do not have to follow any guide or theory crafting or common logic to participate in 90% of this game's content. You could dump all your points into magicka (with 2 into health for safety ofc) and slot soul trap with no other spells and left click with a bow, someone will probably find it easier to carry you through vWGT than to wait for another dps in the queue. Do whatever floats your boat, don't get upset when someone else doesn't want to have to pick up the slack.

If you find something that's strange AND effective, gloat about it. I'm serious, within your capacity you should spread it all over your guilds, friends, show us on the forums, make a video or stream it if you can. If someone just wants to get through a quick pledge they don't want to risk a hunk of time to seeing if your strange build works out well enough. It'll even make you smile when you see someone wanting to try playing that way, or using some semblance of your build.

Absolutely ! And thats @KochDerDamonen opinion. Other players maybe see it different ?

I do find it funny that you insulted past posts. Says alot about your character as a player and maybe as a person of your intelligence.

When you try to discredit somebody next time dont be so "tryhardish" lol. Try saying "help me understand, " that gets further in game and in life sir.
