If crafting bags were available to everyone, what the point of bag space and bank space
I have been playing this game a little over 2 years and never subscribed. Not becouse I had something against ZOS or I wouldn't want to support the game. I just find it easier to control my life when I don't have to think that I am wasting paid game time when I am going out with my friends or doing pretty much anything else than playing ESO. I buy Crowns every now and then, have bought all the DLCs (+Imperial edition & Adventure Pack) and some nice cosmetic stuff from the Crown Store.
I was a bit disappointed when I heard Craftingbag is only avaliable to Subscribers. @ValkynSketha I have fully upgraded bank and 3 mule characters with fully upgraded bag. Yet I am still running with 15-10 inventory slots, which indeed is the reason why I leave bugs into crafting nodes and green & blue weapons/armor pieces into chests. I don't want to be constantly deleting them. (I have to admit I am a bit of a hoarder and have saved many sets that I probably wont ever use and some "Mementos").
If a crafting bag was avaliable in Crown Store I'd be ready to pay 5K crowns for it without second thoughts. (possibly even more but I would starting wondering wether ZOS' is having economic crisis or if they are just greedy)

I have an eso + sub, so I have the bag.
1st point proven false.
I have over 1k "Ta" that's the real issue. Too much junk that never gets used, has no value, and pointless.

Leaving anything behind is selfish, it would be quicker for you to delete the stuff you don't want faster then a node will refill.

I am not usually farming the same nodes & chests all over again. I just pick them up when I come across them on my way to do something else, as such, I have no need for the node to respawn faster. I believe they will respawn in 5 mins if only some of the items were taken? And I doubt it's faster to [Open bag - Search for Crawlers/Worms/Ancestor silk boots/ Rubedite cuirass /ect. - right click - press delete - press e - close bag] than just [press e] once when picking up the node. If you are unlucy your bag is full already when you try to pick up the next node and someone steals it when you are deleting worms.

I'd immediately unsub if it weren't for the crafting bag so that's why they'll never sell it separately.
It's such a good non P2W reason to sub though. My sub ends in a few weeks and I am already dreading the idea of not having it. I think they should include PvP in the bag and make it so you can store siege in there. That would bring more importance to the PvP community as they would then be a source of income.

Something about the Craft Bag's tooltip leads me to believe this is something they intended to do eventually...
"ESO Plus Unlocked" instead of simply "Unlocked".
Also, for the love of Zenithar, despawn nodes that have been partially harvested. Or allow items in nodes to be dragged out and instantly destroyed by people who don't want them.

Sir I salute you ! This is something that annoys me having space wasted by siege

Nah he probably wants to unsub and keep his perks
I really want to buy it in Crown Store, but it won't happen ifaik.
Crafting mats takes all my bank (almost 200), and i needed to create a character just to collect BoP gear... Note: i don't even store any Provisioning or Alchemy mats, just Blacksmithing, Leatherworking and Woodworking, also Enchantment.
Sometimes it's more like a work then a game.

Actually this.
Sub-friends just think people not subbing are only paesants that want everything for free.
While hey, they need to get an extremely helpfull perk (to the limit of the game breaking feature) just because they spend 15 € per months.
I just pay globally more than that as a non-sub. And probably even more than most of you subber-friends. To support the game basically.
So why don t I sub? I suppose you could ask.
Because I can't play every months or every week. I just play when I can. But this does not mean I am not supporting the game. I just want to play with the crafting bag avaible for everyone (or for no one, it's the same) because I want the same oppurtuny for every player.
Zos should have used the merchant and the banker assistants as only-plus-avaible perks. Those are usefull stuff for sure, but not game-breaking as the Crafting bag.
BlanketFort wrote: »Yeah... no.
Not even a lesser/limited version of it.
In contradiction to what you said, there are people who have subbed JUST for the crafting bag, like myself. I'd be front and Center waving my red hot angry knickers if ZOS would just give it away for free.
As someone said above, it was meant as an incentive and should stay that way (behind the sub wall). If ZOS wants an uproar, then they should do exactly as you suggested.
And yes, I have played the inventory mini-game before crafting bags existed.
EDITED: changed my mind. Even lesser variations of the Bag of Holding should not be offered either via in-game gold or crown store.

Bring an Eso plus member I would say having the banker or merchant as a Eso plus perk wouldn't be much of a perk and I can say that as I have the banker and it isn't that great , I think Zos did the right thing by making the crafting bag one of the perks

What you say is quite inconsistent.
Now that you have the crafting bag is quite clear that you (being able to choose) would not trade it for anything.
Nothing compare with the crafting bag in terms of advantage over the other players. So it was not the right decision or the most long sighted one.
The merchant and banker assistants, on the other hand, are usefull stuff. Very handy but at the same time not game-breaking for whom don't have them
Zos have said that crafting bag is for Eso plus members and don't think they are going to change that so why people keep hounding on about this is just a waste , if they put the craft bag in the crown store they would lose so many subscribers , I know that I wouldn't sub for s banker or merchant
...
Please ZOS look into just making the Crafting Bag for everybody - but so the Plus users don't get their knickers in a twist, give us a different feature of some sort. This is an issue people have been complaining about since the game came out - and you have the perfect solution but you decide to lock it to paying players only - thereby hurting the people who DO pay.

This should have been a poll...I disagree. Make 'em pay like me. How will ZOS refund me part of the funds I used as a subscriber because part of the reason I am subbing is because of the crafting bag? The same argument goes for "giving away" any other additional component in the crown store such as "any race, any alliance" (which technically can be done with One Tam) or play as Imperial - if those become free, I want a refund of the money I spent to obtain those. It is only fair...and before you hippy millennials say "we all get a participation trophy because we're self entitled"...you're not. Pay for it like the rest of us.
