little help with 2ndary

I'm a level 32 Sorc at the moment. I'm using Destro staff for my primary. My 2ndary is a healing and it's still level 3 because i haven't been using it at all.
I was wondering if i need it at all since i don't plan on using any of its skills.
I already have a ward and dark exchange.
Should i use a destro for my 2nd also for wall of elements?
I don't plan on using dual wield because i just don't like them.
