Master Assassin Passive, question.

For nightblades, the assassination skill line has the passive called Master Assassin. It says "The stun from the crouch ability stuns for 100% longer". What the hell is the crouch ability. I tried testing it out, and if I'm crouched when I Teleport strike to an NPC, it still only stuns for 2 seconds. When i sneak up to an NPC and use Surprise Attack it only stuns them for 4 seconds. I'm entirely confused as to what abilities stun for double the time. Any help provided would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

✭This has never been clear since the first console release. Sometimes my NB does get a really, really long stun in. My assumption is that there might be a rng on the proc on these, and I also always wonder if you maybe need to be crouched and behind the target to get this to proc (sort of like the blade of woe mechanic).0
