What skills are considered melee direct damage? Do skills such as Rapid Strike consider (I know is a dot, but it's in melee range no)?

So as long as a skill's description has the melee tag but the damage is a dot type, does it only proc on the first hit only?0 -

✭✭✭✭Rapid Strike does multiple melee strikes in quick succession so could proc of any of them.
