    uknow.. this whole 'we like it, we don did it all dis tyme, so ish better' is silly

    Its illogical that the towers are
    1: indestructible when you 'own' them,
    2 : its silly that the towers are even THERE at the resources, and
    3: its REALLY stupid that they are so damn CLOSE to the flags(IE insta-cap flag as soon as enemy troops wander off)

    IMO to make it 'easy and simple' for the devs, just make it so that when the flag is 'capped' all enemy units are 'ejected' from the tower.(Truth is, they should simply be burnable like previously suggested, AND the doors shouldn't be there, AND we should have ability to 'siege' our own towers)

    Demanding a broken and 'illogical' mechanic stay in please just because you have abused it all this time, is NOT for the betterment of the game, and instead is a selfish desire and not much else.

    Yes, trying to explain it takes time, and the flag is at least half flipped before you can get people's attention.

    IF they even have area voice active.
    Or IF they are even reading the area text chat.

    And anyone who says that 3 could not hold off 9 are not taking into consideration the bottleneck that is that doorway which creates the kill zone. These are the same people who will happily say that it's possible to 1v4 in wider cyro as long as you watch resources, line of sight, and play efficiently... But in here will say that 1v3 (3v9) isn't possible even if the battlefield is prepped with AoE and the larger side is forced through that kill zone.

    Lots of inconsistent thinking there, with those who say that towers can be easily taken after the flag.

    But some of us clear tower farms every day to the armchair critics.
    The fact that they bother you so much shows you can't walk away from them and let the farmers die of boredom.
    While they are in the tower they are of no use to their alliance.

    Then it is a l2p issue not an issue with game mechanics. We have enough l2p nerfs. Please don't dumb down the game anymore because people don't want to improve.

    For those who may not understand why we can't break our own keeps/towers down; it would be too easy for me to join an enemy alliance, break down the walls to a keep and let the enemy walk on in :tongue:

    A simple solution would be to put the flag inside the Tower. Then you would have to siege the Tower down before flipping the flag. Since most of the Tower is destroyed when sieged, the flag would need to go at the top of the stone steps, as they are all that is left of a 0% Tower. The door is also destroyed at 0%, so enemies wouldn't be able to get trapped inside.

    But no matter how many smart players you have in your alliance, it takes much longer for them to take the walls down than it takes for those two or three stupid ones to flip the resource.

    This is exactly what happened to me once... we almost took the walls down, when I noticed we don't do damage to them anymore.
    Honest to god, I wished for a possibility to attack my own alliance players at that moment.

    There is always someone who takes the flag. Doesn't matter how much you yell at them. Even if you have whole group on TS, there are always some randoms lurking around.

    I really like the idea with flag inside of tower.

    Or maybe a combination of flag inside and flag outside.

    When you take flag outside you capture the resources, but tower will be still hostile. Then you would need to siege down the tower and flip the flag inside to capture the tower.

    Why bother with siege? Just flip the flag and don't go inside.

    When you don't flip the flag, you are feeding the enemy defense ticks. If you flip it, the tick goes to your faction.

    I was in one of these situations on Saturday and gave up attacking because it was just silly. I stood outside the window and waved at the AD players within. Some waved back. Then I went AFK. I came back to find I was dead, as the AD players had come out and killed everyone. How rude of them, after I waved and everything.

    If you go inside tower you deserve to get what you were looking for (AKA GET REKT M8) and it's totally a L2P issue.
    And according to your point of view if 100 angry smurfs/bananas are chasing my 12/16/24 rad I should get destroyed by you in open field?
    No,thank you I'd rather go in tower wait for you to get the flag and then farm you inside the tower because that's what you deserve for zerging.
    Game's 2 years old and ppl still need to learn...

    if people would ever learn to siege the tower instead of capturing the flag right away you could destroy the tower and most of the enemy players in it. But there is always those couple Pugs that will not get off the flag and then run right in and get killed as soon as it flips.
    Leave the flag. Siege the tower. Destroy the tower. Collect AP....simple

    Resources should be reworked once captured.

    Many AP cheesers here will disagree. 20 people sitting in the bottom of a taken resource, killing people through the door is pretty weak.

    What the hell.
    What exactly is wrong with farming in towers.
    I mean surely its a fun thing to do, especially when you're at a numerical disadvantage... the whole point of fortifications is to defend, particularly against superior numbers.
    Threads like this just encourage ZOS to go further down the route of encouraging mindless zerging rather than smart strategic play

    I'm in the L2P camp on this one, and I honestly think it's silly to even bother sieging down the tower (GO SIEGE A KEEP INSTEAD OMG)

    but I also don't take my group in to bust up as many tower farms as I used to because the door only works like 30% of the time, half of us get stuck outside or double door back out the first couple tries; extra painful if the sorcs can't drop their negate on the inner or the healers are delayed since they need stupid LOS now

    Fix the door or get rid of the door and towers would be a delightful place to hang out with your pals

    I'm totally fine with warfare around the towers and in towers. The doors are the main problem that is causing this issue. Most of the time you are not able to reliably teleport inside of the tower without a delay. There is usually like 2 or 3 seconds delay when you press E to get in and when you can actually control your character inside.

    I know most of you are against changing anything in towers, because you like to farm easy AP there. But if you are so good as you pretend to be, then I believe you would defend that tower also with working doors or without any doors, right?
