StamSorc MediumArmor Cyclone Build

5 Hundings
2 Bloodspawn
3 Marksman Jewelry [ 5 pce on Defensive bar/ 4 Pce on Offensive Bar]
Offensive Bar: 1 vMA 1H Axe + 1 Marksman Mace (both sharpened) [For Damage]
Defensive Bar: 2 Marksman Daggers (both precise) [For stronger heals and Crit Surge procs]
Note: Markman's 5 pce gives reduce cost of abilities and gives Bows stronger hits. I know, so why am i using 5 pce? With this build, alot of my sustain comes from Reduce Cost of abilities. On all clips, i have like 15%-20% reduce cost (Sorc passives, Marksman, CPs). I also have like 10-15% combined Healing bonuses from CP to get my Vigors/CritSurges stronger.

Nice build and vid m8!

I've been running a heavy armour s&b/DW stam sorc in IC and its good fun, just lacks a bit of burst to take on tanky malbureth characters.

Nice, sadly stamsorcs burst only come from Weapon Abilities, or Ults. And unfortunely, theres nothing anyone can do about those tanky Malubeth/Fasalla users unless of course you fight fire with fire which only helps spin this cycle of cheese.

I made a s'orc after the DB patch just like very one else. Named him Båth Sålts. Never could get on the hype train, though, since i knew everyone and their mother would be rolling them soon too. He's still a lowbie...

I know you're an old school stam sorc, but your vid just reminded me of him. I might have to dust him off. Looks fun as hell!

Ballsy double dual wield build, and you're making it work for you. I dig it. You not have another Maelstrom dw weapon?

It used to be DW/Bow, but Quik Cloak is just too good to let go so i took off Bow and went double DW otherwise i'd have to sacrifice Whirlwind or Rune Cage which i also cant let go. Also, yes i have other vMA 1Handers but i prefer to stick only 1 vMA and the other slot you can give it a Damage Enchant and /or you can squeeze in a 4pc bonus, or even a 5pce bonus.

Theyre fun as hell and honestly, after DB, if it werent for Sorc's useless pets/passives and lack of buffs stam sorc could arguably be better than stamblades and possibly on par with stamplar. Imposion alone was a big game changer and i think i am one of the few that actually like the Crit surge change lol.

Yup, figured that's why you switched it. The 5pc front bar with maelstrom back bar looked suspicious, then the use of Quick Cloak made me sure. I love that ability so much on my stam guys. The damage is respectable, but that mitigation is raw. Yo I wish they'd make the self-heal portion of vigor exempt from Leki's. Running those together would be a zerg diver's dream. Making me wanna run your double dw or at least one dw bar on my stam sorc for all that aoe.

YES. If they did do that change, i'd be using that instead of Marksman
I think DW on any stam class is a must in this meta just because of Cloak. Lots of players went and focused on Damage for this patch and so i decided i'd focus more on defense... and using that as my offense. This build is focused on sustaining/tankiness while wearing down my enemies and eventually locking them down.

Give it a try and see how it works for ya and plz send any and all hatetells my way

Yeah, since both bars are DW, my hurricane is gonna hurt and flurry+vMA weapons is gonna do alot (it gives 3000 wpn dmg on my next flurry +damage enchants= 3400 wpng dmg buff for flurry. Im not sure if Hurriane is considered a "single target DoT" since its a DoT on yourself.
Im not specced for damage, im more of a defensive over offensive type guy but i theres still room for damage increases there coz 2100 regen is over the top.
