Unable to Load Certain Characters and/or Certain Zones on Xbox One (NA)

I've been stuck for 2 days only so far while trying to turn in my writs/wrothgar daily and can't even get past the loading screen before the game crashes. I've tried about 20 times now and can't try the hold joystick down trick because I've never made it out of the loading screen. Please help!!

@PoseidonEvil well to be fair, they aren't the clearest of communicators. I don't see what's so difficult about moving my character. I also don't see why customer "service" isn't working 24/7.

While your character is loading push up on the left stick. People have been able to get their characters out of wrothgar and other stuck places consistently with that trick.

Game crashes during load, and I have tried that a lot of times already. It doesn't work for me.

Thank you for contacting The Elder Scrolls Online team. We are aware of reports that some players were experiencing issues logging into some of their characters or excessive crashing.

With our latest incremental patch, we fixed crashes that would often happen while in Orsinium or Elden Root, as well as the crashing that would occur when logging in to some characters. You can read the full patch notes here.

Please try logging in to your previously stuck character as you should not have any more issues.

Can't load into my sorc stuck in Wrothgar got in once for a second so when the character select screen loads I'm on the sorc so I spamed A for hour while I watched TV come back to see Wrothgar loading screen and watch it crash again

For months I've avoided Orsinium because of the constant problems. For writs, I travel to Shatul Wayshrine, head to Orsinium, tiptoe into town to deliver my writs and promptly leave. I've had a quest in my journal to talk to King Kurog for a long time, so today I decided to give it a try, in hopes that the recent patch worked. I never made it. The game crashed several times, including while trying to load my character. Finally got in long enough to fast travel away. I guess I won't be visiting King Kurog anytime soon. I wish I could play the DLC I paid for...

Edit: Specifically, the game crashes whenever I try to enter Scarp Keep.
