What happens to the DLC Questline after ESO Plus runs out?

Hey guys,

I'd like to know what exactly happens to the Story Content of the DLC, after your ESO Plus Membership runs out.
If I rebuy the membership, do I have to restart the DLC Story from the beginning or can I continue, just where I left?
