I'm wondering what the intent is here. There are five options, right? Has the rotation been reset, or is there an rng element to it?

Another week where 99% of the players can't even get on the leaderboards. Why is there a leaderboard for vet MoL again? I get that there should be some content for the elite of the elite, but when this comes up as a weekly it's not even a competition. It's just a matter of whether one guild wants to spend time even completing it that week to get their names to show up.

It is clearly random. We had HRC twice in a month. vDSA and I think SO we're twice in the same month as well very recently.

Your argument is a joke. Just because I'm in an elite guild means I shouldn't be rewarded for completing elite content because I'm one of the few who actually can complete it?
It gives people something to strive for. Stop thinking you're entitled to everything.

Perhaps if the rest of the community wouldn't sit on their thumbs waiting for someone to teach them how to VMOL and proactively watched the Elite clear this thing so they understand the mechanics the rest of the community would be getting better. Been in so many runs where people haven't been in VMOL and cause wipes due to not understanding the mechanics.

CSH and HODOR stream their clears these days, go watch the groups that "Put in the hard yards" and learn or evolve from their strategies.

I am one of those players, that belongs to a guild that allows one to get on the weekly this week, but I agree that twice a month is a bit unreasonable. I think it should be analogous to the vet pledges, where there is a set order.

ZOS really loves their RNG.

That having been said, I got four pieces of decon trash in four leaderboard placements last week. After weeks of doing the weeklies on multiple toons, there's only been one reward that was actually worth keeping. So at this point, I don't care--I'm only missing out on four Rosins/Waxes/Alloys this week.

It is hard, but it is doable.... But lemme tell you one thing. Good luck with Sanctum next patch. it will be as difficult as vMoL. So you better get a good group going or you are gonna get rekt.

It's official, ZOS has lost control of RNG. Someone call John Conner, the machines have taken over. Haha!

That being said, really hope I get a clear this week. That last boss is starting to get on my nerves.

It gives people something to strive for. Stop thinking you're entitled to everything.

I totally believe the top guilds should be rewarded. My point is that there is no sense of actual competition. Perhaps down the road when more guilds are completing, it might happen. We have a leaderboard that is hundreds of slots long and gets filled by maybe 20 people the week that trial shows up. That's the issue. It's a situation that's bound to implode in the other direction if ZoS keeps tabs on that. I don't want to see a nerf to the content, but if it's consistently barren on leaderboard weeks, that may be the conclusion that ZoS draws. There is some merit in rewarding elite players but when it comes at the cost of the other 99% sighing and giving up for the week, it may not be worth it.

I put my alts on leaderboards every week and havent gotten a single item I could use for any of my characters.

How about you stop crying, look around the internet for some builds, start theorycrafting and get on the level that you can quite easily do, there is information all over the place to help you achieve the top dps. You are choosing not to, instead you are complaining about content you can't beat asking why there is a leaderboard.

Your comment is extremely arrogant, and it's thought processes like these which encourage others to follow along and we start seeing nerfs. The information you need is all over the internet, just do a search. That's what I did years ago, and chat to people in game. If you're a Templar, I'll even help you.

It is completely random. I have tracked it for weeks for my website, but it is completely random. I don't understand why ZOS comments here saying that there is "some random aspect" to how weekly trials are schedules. If there is "some random aspect" it means they are random by every definition. A set of variables with one random variable IS ALWAYS random.

The only think I can think of is that some trials have bigger change to be selected than others.

Perhaps there's a rule that it cannot be the same thing twice in a row, or more than 3 times under a certain period? I admittedly haven't been tracking to too closely.

When we get the same weekly 2 times in a row or too close into the rotation can get frustrating, no matter what that Trial is, would it be that difficul to get a rotation like the Gold/Silver?

Weekly on EU server is Sanctum Ophidia - second week in a row. Is MoL a weekly on NA server now, or what? How many guilds are clearing it on the American server?

It used to work like that: (maybe something changed recently, let me know then)

There are 5 possible weeky trials: AA, HRC, SO, DSA and MoL. Let's call a set of these trials a "ZOS month". Obviosuly this month has more weeks than any normal month in a year. During a ZOS month every trial will be a weekly excactly 1 time, BUT an order of trials is random. For example:

ZOS month #1: HRC, SO, DSA, AA, MoL.
ZOS month #2: DSA, MoL, SO, HRC, AA.

It means MoL can be a weekly trial twice in a row:

ZOS month A: AA, HRC, SO, DSA, MoL
ZOS month B: MoL, DSA, SO, HRC, AA.

So it's not 100% random, because there is 0% chance to have MoL 3 times in a row
