Cyrodiil Freezes

Cant play in Cyrodiil, in big fight everything freezes then "unknown error"
Its the same thing that happens at 2 mins in this video, without the laggpike.

My comp is:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
Memory: 16384MB RAM
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770

same problem since last patch. cant play pvp anymore, everytime freeze and disconnect to login screen when near to large groups.

same processor
memory 8k
card gtx 550 ti oc

I have the same issue, and it does seem more of a recent issue possibly from the last patch. I can't even enjoy PVP anymore, since it's not playable. Everyone just stops moving. Sometimes it will play catch up and everything fast forwarders.

AMD FX 8150 (8 Core, 3.6ghz), 16GB RAM, 3GB AMD 7950

Game runs smooth before and after the freeze. I also have had this happen in PVE, and outside of Cyrodiil but it's more rare,

I have this problem too!

Characters stop moving, chat is still working, but I cannot attack, use skills, check my inventory or character stats. Then the game boots me out with the "An error has ocurred" message.

Happened to me and all my friends yesterday. Had to relogg every 15 min becouse of the heavy lagg and memory leaks

Since last patch, i have experienced this error even more. I found out that once i group up with other players this error is more likely to occur. The pvp is unplayable for me atm, becuse i am getting disconnected with "unknown error has occured" message, and than cannot even log in for few minutes due to this error popping out again and again.
I have seen other players have this problem too, because when my group merged with other we all got dc, and when i logged back in after like 15 minutes everyone but 2 - 3 persons from 20+ man group were offline... Thats serious issue now.

Having the same problem in Cryodill!. Cant login until i get booted from my grp.(that is my theory).

Go to your UserSettings text file and change:

SET RequestedNumJobThreads "-1"
SET RequestedNumWorkerThreads "-1"

to

SET RequestedNumJobThreads "0"
SET RequestedNumWorkerThreads "0"

It fixed the "freezes" for me, im not sure its the same issue you are experiencing, but its worth a try.

Im encountering this problem for about one week now. Its horribly annoying. It seems to happen especially when a lot of characters are displayed at once.

I had a bit of back and fourth with tickets, they got me to open some ports on my router but it didn't help either.

Same here, after craglorn patch in cyrodiil i encountered lag spikes and often crash. Today i was not able to play because in big fight everything freezes then "unknown error", especially when i join a large group. Fix it asap pls

I've been getting this all day. Maybe ten minutes of play in Cyrodiil then it randomly crashes with "Unknown error". And now my campaign is full too.

Just found this thread.

I have the same issue since 1.4 and I tried pretty much everything.

lowered my graphic settings
disabled all my add-ons
switched screen modes

and still nothing. Every time I go near a siege or when a bomb group is nearby everything just freezes. Only way to fix this is Alt + F4 and re enter the game with the hope that you wont be kicked from Cyrodiil..

One thing that hasn't been mentioned though, is that you can still use the guild chat. Zone, say, yell and tell chats wont work but only guild chat. And of course everyone in the guild can see your messages.

2nd attempt with CS fixing it will be interesting to see how it goes, gets really bloody annoying!

OK this actually worked for me. Make sure you guys are making sure you save it after you change it.

its the same for me on ps4 .... anytime i get near big group the game freezes .. then i try reset my game log to my character i get long load time then fail to connect to server .... its pretty bad i took a year off this game and its only gotten worse ... maybe instead of giving away 1 million dollars they should put it into an actual server that can hold the amount of people in them ... nut up zeni fix your servers its a great game i think it deserves to be fixed properly stop releasing new crap to try cover up the lack of fixing these issues .. i payed over 600k to make a whole set for pvp and i cant even get close to any action to use it ... super lame any who please fix the game ?
