How do you counteract fear? Does purge work or Mutagen or a potion immunity?

    You can simply break free from the effect by clicking and holding both mouse buttons, as with all CCs.

    No worries, it's live and learn! Breaking free like that works perfectly well against fear effects induced from bosses, I imagine it's the same in PvP as well although I don't PvP much. Of course it takes stamina to be able to do it, so if your stamina is running out you might not manage. Also, I see that you play on Xbox. I am not sure what the equivalent of holding both mouse buttons is, but I'm sure you do!

    Thanks! Its basically both triggers (block / wep attack) on xbox and its PvP that I have the problem - PvE its managable but PvP theres a certain attack that makes my all powerfull mage cry like a little baby and run away with his hands up - during which time I get hit with multiple attacks and die. Alot. ha.

    and yes Stamina is an issue for my main, so I might book up some potions to help with that.
