As long as it doesn't affect your sustain or damage enough, it's fine.
I go small with impen and then the 3 big with infused. Extra resource, extra damage0 -

✭✭✭✭I put 60 in Hardy and elemental and rest into resistant on all motions except sorc.
Seems to be doing the job for me. Even on my 20k health toons I seem to survive quite a lot of incoming damage1
