ZOS... Console text chat!!!!!

Ok. So I know this has been brought up many, many times but I believe this is something that needs to be kept on the front line for console players. It's very, VERY important!
TEXT CHAT!!
I still don't understand why we don't or can't have it. It really doesn't make any sense. I played on PC when ESO launched. It just made everyday things much easier and much, much better!!!
Now that ESO has gotten bigger and better, it's more important then ever. The players need this in order to play effectively.
Voice chat, for the most part is just a horrible experience. It can work well in a group or in guild chat but in the open world of Tamriel it's simply a disaster.
This is an MMO and one of the biggest problems is trying to socialize with other players. It hinders the game in a very big way. Whether it's trying to look for a group or trying to trade. Or trying to get help for something or even if you're just trying to say a friendly hello. It's just a pain in the a** right now. It's literally ruining the whole MMO experience.
There are more reasons than I can list right now as to why this should be a number 1 priority for console players. There are just soooo many reasons why this is just manditory in any.... ANY MMO.
It's 2015... Almost 2016.... People don't talk to each other. THEY TEXT!!
I can literraly download MMOs on my phone, for FREE and have text chat. I can download web based MMOs on my laptop for FREE and have text chat.
Why? Just why don't we console players. Who are paying customers don't have this simple and archaic feature? There is simply no logic behing it what so ever.
I paid for and played ESO on PC. I also paid for and now play ESO on console. I love and stand behind this game. It is great!!!

Fireborn is right especially with how group finder is broken for consoles.
People who use Voice Chat and get by are probably in a good active helpful guild. But not everyone is, I have been through over 10 guilds, all claiming to be active whether its a trader, pve or pvp guild.
They have 300-500 on the roster, but only have 2-8 online during peak hours. Might jump up to 12 on weekends.
And barely anyone uses guild chat channels.
It at the point were I login with chat turned off.
Public chat is worse, if its not a fan blowing or a baby crying , its kids trying to act "gangster/thugged out".
Voice is fine when you actually have a group already, but when your LFG Voice Chat doesnt cut it.
So if everyone in my guild isnt in a guild voice channel I now have to message via PSN which as we all know isnt efficient.
But if there was a guild text chat, ONE message would reach everyone.
Right now ESO is very anti social, its as if they wanted to make an mmo but still wanted it to be singleplayer.
ESO is a singleplayer with MM-Co Op. Not an actual MMO. Phasing is bad in this game.
Missing sooooo many basic MMO features.
No text chat
No buff/debuff timers
No targeting system
No gear check
No latency meter
No search feature for items in trade shops
And the list goes on.

You are joking right? Go play Skyrim some more then, this is an MMO and having no text chat puts this game way behind. I played ff14 for a year. That game has text chat from the beginning and it makes a huge difference...in a good way. EZgoin76✭✭✭✭There have been multiple threads with all the reasons we need text chat. Out of those hundred threads or so the only two reasons not to have it have been "ZOS said no." and "Because of 40 year old usability studies."
So if your gonna say no to text chat being implemented. At least try to give us a valid reason. Because the two I stated above just are not worth the time it took to type them. Oh and the reasons ZOS gave for not having it is a complete joke.
