About the datamined Crown Store Goodies

Datamined Images, not in English

More datamined info, in English but no pics

ZoS, particularly regarding the items in the first link, it's pretty obvious they are done and ready to go so why aren't they available yet? Please tell me your grand plan is NOT to add one or two things every few months. STOCK the darn store already! Give us some choices!

And from the second link, things I would pay real money for RIGHT NOW:

Markarth Bear Dog (if it looks anywhere near as cool as that sounds!)

And forget the mind shriven and soul shriven polymorphs...give me a GHOST costume! Seriously thoug hZoS give me a reason to be excited about the Crown Store. So far it's been extremely lackluster.

The fact that things were datamined doesn't mean they will definitely be in the crown store, or even in the game. It just means someone found those images somewhere in the games files and wasn't able to match them up to anything they knew was already in the game.

I haven't paid close attention to any ESO datamining, but with other games I've seen people get it very, very wrong. They find images, bits of text and other things that can give hints at upcoming content and items, but it's all out of context so they have to essentially guess at what it's for (and sometimes what it is). Some of it may have already been scrapped or re-purposed and someone just left files lying around.

I'm not saying they won't sell these things either. In some cases it wouldn't surprise me. But the fact that someone datamined images and listed them on a fan site alongside crown store items doesn't prove anything other than the fact that those images exist in the games files.

It's true that there's no guarantee that any of these things will even make it into the store and/or game.
It's also true that they've pretty much taken everything they called an "exclusive reward" and simply slapped a few new skins on it and threw it in the store. Obviously ZoS's idea of "exclusive" and the playerbase's idea of "exclusive" are two different things.

Do not be selfish. Some people simply came later, but they have money and want to be loyal too.

LOL I get where you're coming form even if I don't necessarily agree. It'll be as abused as the wedding dress at first but then it'll die down. I seldom see people running around as skeletons or goblins anymore whereas there used to be absolute hordes of them. And I was braced to see hordes of Draugher when that costume came out but I've seen relatively few people wearing it.

Bumping because...still relevant. Though to be fair most of the stuff that is pictured IS in the store now with a couple exceptions. Also, I'm pretty certain that the skeleton and Razak;s Opus will remain things you get in game rather than being sold but because they do have a space in your storage for pets and costumes there are images of them. I don't think that indicates that they will be for sale.

I would have bought all of these had they been offered them to us.
instead the zombie horse is glitched (though will be fixed)
and a pair of polymorphs I am not thrilled with.

It could easily work like the many disguises you pick up during quests, "breaking" on entering combat. Only difference would be that it would not be lost and you could reapply it once you were out of combat. The ability to do this kind of thing is already in the game, no reason not to do it.
