Console really does need one. It'll be slow to type everything out, yes. But at least you'd be able to TALK if you don't own a mic.

They should include a console friendly method to repeat phrases too. so they don't have to type "looking for help doing x or y with Z" etc.

Pretty sure all PS4 units come with a *** mic...
I'm Not defending the fact that we need a chat however. There are psn channels and communities, but their not cutting it. People leave the channels as soon as they don't work out in a week, and they never grow to the size we need for a real "community".

1) Bots and chat logs to ban offending players. No such method exists for voice chat.
2) Again, bots can limit spam and chat logs can be reviewed. Also, you can quickly ignore/mute users.
3) Universal problem, at least you don't ave to hear their whiny voices.
4) Still better than hearing music and vulgar language. Bots can temp ban offending players.
5) Good to know you're done.

I have it on pc but prefer it on xbox so no I wont be happy without one.

i already gave up with eso.....WARFRAME FTW

No matter what type game. if it has no text chat , its get boring instantly after you get max lvl & complete all doneable quests

also why are ppl complaining about keyboard....write with controller

Well yeah we are TES fans so will always be here.

Does not change the fact we console players need a chat box.

For the record I have 3 friends who did leave the game because of this, so I am sure plenty others do, by the day.

Soon I will finish cadwells gold. When I am done I will most likley move on to another game and not return. No text chat is the #1 reason. This game could be great. Its just missing a few STANDARD mmo functions.
