Samphaa✭✭✭I would love to switch from ps4 to pc, or copy I should say, I'd still like my character to stay on ps4 but would love a copied version on the pc, I'd quite happily pay for the service and buy the game again1 -

zornyan✭✭✭✭✭It'd not really dirty, pc players had to pay to transfer, it costs time and resources and that's not cheap nor free.
I would happy buy the game on pc if that's all that was required, or just a flat rate of say £12-150 -
Samphaa✭✭✭You have to remember that at the end of the day it's a business and they need to make money, the more money they make, the more they can invest in new content and improvements, that's the way I look at it.
With that said it depends on the game, I like ZOS, they're very open and informative, the eso live shows are great, I played Destiny for a few months and got really into it before I got sick of bungie and their unwillingness to share any info on what they had planned for the future, where the game is going and all the rest of it, I'm glad I left now after I see they've just introduced microtransactions, I wouldn't give them a penny.
Each to his own I suppose, I'm all up for supporting this game though, it just needs a few QoL fixes0 -

✭Since they can transfer from PC to Console there shouldn't be any limitation that would make this impossible. @ZOS should offer this as a pay for service to move from one platform to another. Say for $30 or something like that, they transfer your account from one place to the other. It would be based off your character information as of the date you made the purchase. RickHolt✭✭Found this thread while Googling if it is possible to transfer. Even if I can't transfer my characters it would be nice to be able to transfer purchases between the different consoles/PC. I'm happy to pay for the PC version after playing on the PS4 since release but don't want to have to pay for two sets of DLC/extras.
I'll keep checking back in, wallet at the ready, to see if it is possible in future.0 -

They we're fixed with the one tamerial update, but with the homestead update its broken again. Crashes on dsa, malestrum, trials, everything. The game is literally unplayable.0

✭They have stated before the only reason why they initially allowed pc to console transfer was because they were essentially starting with an empty database and transferring the data over. Now that all databases on all servers have data, it would be a hassle to attempt to move players from one database to another.
For example, what if someone else has the same name as you? Remember, all names are unique, but only within the server. If you went to another server, there's a possibility of someone already using your name.
That is just one example of complications that could occur. They have stated they don't have the database infrastructure to handle server/console transfers.Make PC NA raiding great again!

✭I have been dying to move to PC instead of PS4, but I don't have the time or the ability to grind endlessly, (i get bored quickly) to level up another character. Also I have spent lots of money in this game I don't want to loose all my mounts and items. The only reason I want to leave on PS4 is because the community is pretty toxic, from what I have heard the PC version is a lot more toned down, (I also did not have a strong enough computer at the time of eso's release) I also get "hassled" by other players, some of the messages I get....wow...they have been reported but as far as I know nothing has happened ):
Luckily I don't spend as much time on eso as I used too, probably another reason why I don't have time to grind another character to 50 for Cyrodiil.
I would happily pay to have my characters move over!!
