Maintenance for the week of April 6:
• ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – April 8, 9:00AM EDT (13:00 UTC) - 6:00PM EDT (22:00 UTC)
We are currently investigating connection issues some players are having on the European megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available.

CP Cap will be implemented on next patch, it is time for me to leave this game.

I have 850 CPs, with 501 Cap implemented on next DLC update, makes me have 349 left in the bank to watch.

I felt being treated unfairly. Why people working hard gets punishment? I don't understand, the time I have been spent after next patch means nothing.
For the past couple of moths, I keep playing and grinding everyday just to get to the point that as a DPS finally I can outcast enough DPS to satisfy myself. I see something in return after all the boring hours I have spent. Now just because of ZOS you have to consider new players or players who unwilling/or doesn't have enough time to spend on the game, you decide to put a CAP on EVERYBODY. THIS IS HURTS VERY MUCH!!
I have cancelled the Plus and will not play anymore. Thank you for the past good time.

The mods will lock this thread shortly, but this change will effect very few players. The PC transfer folks - See ya. (this shouldn't have been allowed to begin with).

For every one elite who leaves, 2 will return because of this. So sorry but I bid you farewell:)
Edit: Just would like to note I could care less if there was a cap or not, but its better for the health of the game.

Agree, the champion points was one of the top 3 reasons why people left the game, and people like Deltias wrote a post on here about it. Because of this level cap, Zenimax is about to have a lot more players returning to the game. And capping the champion points is going to help bring PvP back to life.

Change was needed badly. The catchup mechanic and seasonal caps are the only thing that will bring new people in to the game. If they lose a few CP grinders over it so be it. The gains will outweigh the losses tremendously.

Instead of spending that much time farming CP, you should spend that time improving your gameplay.

Ppl like you just want CP to balance your own lack of skill.

Feel free to leave, one farmer less wont heart.

See you in a couple of weeks when you realise every other MMO is pure trash compared to ESO.

(No I do not earn commission for saying these things about the best game that was obviously forged in Olympus by the Gods themselves)

    inb4lock.

If CPs is the only reason that is keeping you in game, you're doing it wrong. The DLC have plenty of activities to take part in, to which you neglect to give an inch of interest

Please come back when you rethink this.

If not why don't you donate your gear and mats to some needy players?

Many players I have a lot of respect for have gone on record supporting cp caps, and some against the cp system completely. I've yet to hear threats to quit over cp caps from someone I respect. That is all.

    Greetings,

We understand that sometimes people will leave the ESO community, and want to post a “goodbye” or “quitting” thread. Generally, we have found that “goodbye” and “quitting” threads have a tendency to go downhill fast. It is our policy to read the feedback in “goodbye” and “quitting” threads and close them, regardless of whether they are constructive or not.
