Faction style is introduced by IC, Style of TelVar sets with the Daggerfall, Ebonheart and Aldmeri designs
PvP achievements could unlock (per exemple) :
Caporal : Shoulders
Sergent : Boots
Lieutenant : Legs
Major : Sword
Colonel : Axe
Prefect : Shield
General : Chest
-> You could only craft YOUR faction
PvE achievements could unlock :
Do the five epic stories
Do all dungeons
Do all exploration
Do all skyshards
Do all bosses
Do all public challenges
Do all quests accomplisher
-> You could unlock ALL factions
Another RNG loot
All Breton, Redguard and Orcs will loot randomly DC motifs
All Altmer, Bosmer and Khajiits will loot randomly AD motifs
All Argonians, Dunmer and Nords will loot randomly EP motifs
others ?
