Bookshelves after Molag Bal

Hi guys,
Once you hit the VR levels and start in other alliances zones do bookshelves still give opportunity for skill up? Maybe I was just lucky during lower levels with skill ups via bookshelves cause they seemed to occur every so often. Since I've started in other alliances territories maybe not so lucky as I've completed a couple zones since while hitting up every bookshelves on my way and have gotten 0 skill ups. Was wondering if once hit VR levels you still can skill up from bookshelves.

There are 82 skill books. Once you've found them all, you've found them all. You can check in your lore tab to see if you are missing any. VR areas don't enter into it.

There are a finite number of skill books (82 to be precise) - once you've found all of them you won't find any more. If you've completed the Mages Guild questline and have eidetic memory you can check to see if you have already found all of them. Just go to your journal, then your lore library and scroll down through the eidetic memory list until you see the "skill books" category.

Thanks I appreciate it. I do see 82/82 for skill books. That explains it. Guess no more need to stop at bookshelves

You are best off not reading books until your most-used skills are in the 40s.

It takes next to no time to level a skill from 4 to 5. It takes a very long time to go from 45 to 46 or 49 to 50

Reading books at that stage gives much more bang for your buck.
