The Lag tonight is making the game unplayable. NA Server

The game was running fine all day, then all of a sudden lag is crazy bad. And I know its affecting many others. Im assuming it has to do with the pts, but why is the pts so badly effecting the NA server. Normally I run under 100 ping, but its been around 250 at best but always spiking to around 1k while usually remaining over 500, and this didn't start happening til around 5pm.

Same here on PC NA. Seems like it's affecting console as well from what I've been hearing.

Hmm, I'm on PC NA right now in Rivenspire and it's fine. Of course I'm running in Cadwell's Silver so there are fewer players. That might be the problem.

Could be everyone downloading the PTS has eat up all the bandwidth.

This may be true, but why would they tie all that in to our game servers.

Same. My lag has been averaging 400-500, peaking up to 999+. Cyrodiil (Thornblade) usually never lags, but I've been standing there at times unable to move for 1-2 minutes waiting on the game to catch up. Which is amusing when it does because its' like ESO in fast-forward, but...

Yea i was in pvp too, ask were were capturing a keep, everyone froze and I crashed. then I got back on and my group was capturing a resource and again everyone froze and I crashed.

It's only affecting certain small areas, and sporadically -- actual areas, as in players' location on earth, not nirn.

I'm having no issues, but people an hour or two north are.

I am near Philadelphia on PS4 and lag is a about 1 second which is getting me killed in combat. Any official word on this?

Dropped my Coldfire ballista which had racked up over 200+ kills... and instantly freeze for 4 minutes before I'm able to move/do anything again. I lost my baby.

I'm near Orlando, Florida and can barely play tonight, latency keeps jumping from 124 to 767 to 999+ and back down again and repeats.

Yeah it's horrible, I couldn't even switch ability bars correctly and sometimes I would experience a lag stall where I'd stand in one place un-able to move then everything would register all at once.

Had this in vICP tonight. Lord Warden was sooo fun. My connection is fine, so must be a server issue. +999 latency in a PVE dungeon is ridiculous.

Make sure you grab a thread from a year ago. I was on TF in prime time and just got off na PC very little lag.
