The only thing people can complain about is the delay of IC's release, not the price. You can argue that we were promised that content way earlier, and that they didn't come clear about why it was being pushed back. If we were still forced to sub, you would have payed way more for the same content, whereas now the content is delayed just as much as before, except you are getting if for less money, and ou even have the choice to not pay for it at all.

you clearly have no clue what you are talking about, you should do a little research before making assumptions.

Thing OP doesn't realize is that it's really a PvE DLC.

There's no new PvP things to play with
There's no new PvP maps to play with
There's no new PvP gear to get
    There's no new PvP tournaments

All it is, wait for the PvP'ers to get emperor keeps. Then PvP'ers can pop lock that campaign and play PvE.

hum did you even read the release? We do get a new PvP map... We do get new PvP gear.. and we even get faction motifs. We get new PvP things to play with as we get new things to capture and hold for our faction

It sounds like some people feel cornered between their compulsion to play and a 20 dollar bill in their wallet. Make a choice and free yourself from your monkey mind one way or the other. No point getting your blood-pressure up over a video game.

This expansion might kill the game for me... unless they will do some super good work at balancing, I will most likely not buy it, and thus the large portion of new PvP will be unavailable, so no point in playing the game.

I will revisit the game once Orsinium will get released, but I have a hard time justifying the expense on a content that will ultimately not change PvP gameplay much.. I will play without exp for some time and then decide, but there is 90% chance that this is a game killer for me... I already play less than after my come back, because I find it boring that it always is about the same endless spam of abilities ending up with a massive lag or being two shot by some burst ganker NB build... and without big grind i cannot trade efficiently with people in high end gear and massive CPs, so while I might outskill in outlasting some of their attakcs and burst, I eventually run out of resources with my tickle tickle attacks while they sport massive regens and do not care if their attacks hit or miss + laugh at the dmg I cause to them and then self heal faster than I can do dmg...

ZOS has never made a promise. When they say "we will do x" or "you'll have it by this date", those are not promises. Those are targeted release dates and business commitments to their customers paying and non-paying.

You can take it personal if you want certainly... Yes they keep missing deadlines, but not personal commitments and promises.

It's just a business like any other that tries to make money. Only this line of work is significantly more difficult in both what they produce and the huge variability in their customers. Similar company's that make their deadlines are setting ultra low expectations and still cutting content and / or scope before the product is released (among other things). They've also not had internal stability and leadership and it shows too.

None of which are excuses BTW. But clearly a company is not intentionally struggling and trying to defer fun for us. They are still trying to shed their past BS just like we are. But you don't unwind 2 years of issues in 2 or even 6 months. Since the leadership changed, I do think we should see an improvement in meeting commitments. But it's too early to tell.

I think threads that repeatedly qq about the same thing endlessly just sour the perspective of any new and fresh PvP targets *cough players that just came onboard.
