Elder Scrolls PvP Event: Lux Dei - vs - Daggerfall Army
Daggerfall Army is a primary stamina based group. Lux Dei is more magicka based.
The last fight was so fast, because we coordinated all our dawnbreakers and had a lucky hit.
The fights seems not very specular, but there are many coordination behind the scene. We trained 2 hours before. Spoke about specific tactics, skills, situations and synergies and so on.
In the end these fights are very cool if you know how much you can do and how much are behind, but im more a friend of close heartbeating fights in smaller scale. So we are still interested into GvG, especially in smaller scales like 8vs8 or so.
imho we should really repeat this with 8-10 players each. i can see how it's almost impossible to decide which 8 players to consider, though. i'm sure fights would be longer and much more interesting play and watch. iirc players involved on both sides met earlier by chance in a 6 v 7 or something on another campaign. imho that was actually the better fight.
however, the whole thing was great fun and a lot more insightful than 100 zerg v zergs in the middle of the action where lag, numbers (adding randoms), etc decide battles. fighting 20v20 no-meteor was a great way to see how several tactics, skills, etc work out.
by the way: blues had emp + 1o + 2d scrolls on the campaign during the vid
