What is the difference bewteen unplugging the console vs logging out the normal way to "log out"

Logging out ensures multiple things. It ensures that you are not taking up space in the game world, That you are not trying to avoid a negative outcome in game, and that everything is in proper order.
Unplugging your console can lead to internal damage. You can corrupt data, wipe your hard drive our straight up kill your console.
TLDR; don't do that any more.PC NA
