☆ Bugs

Just a few things i noticed on the console version not sure if it will help and feel free to move this thread.

☆ The Black Bug
So abit odd to run around and everyone is a black shade unfortunately i tried everything to fix it but the only way is to reset ESO.

-fixed only by restarting the eso.

☆ Disappearing Npc Inc Enemies
: Some enemies and npc disappear others can see them but the player cannot.
This includes talking to them and attacking them and leads to alot of ghost attacks.

-Again can only be fixed by restarting eso.

On the left is my brother playing in the same group and right is me.

Other things include:

☆Not seeing others in voice chat while your in the same channel may have something to do with nat type. (Im nat type 2)
☆Lag spikes that can cause nothing to intract for minutes at a time.
☆Frame rates ping ponging as you move around.

All my group has encountered so far and will update as we go but so far so good.
These are minor as i know that launches contain problems.

So far im really impressed with the console version and i hope the devs working on it got a high 5 for it lol.
I do have some ideas that could improve the console version and will post it in my series.

: some times you just cannot loot lol.

-no idea how to work around this one.

☆ Dont Buy Things Bug
: This is an odd one multiple mates and i are getting and you cannot buy crowns or subscription.
- We fixed this one by resetting the ps4

You do know that last one is a Sony issue and not ZOS right?

You do know that last one is a Sony issue and not ZOS right?

Yep but it's something that Zenimax will want to know especially if their profits are at risks because of this.

Yep but it's something that Zenimax will want to know especially if their profits are at risks because of this.

I can access the PSN Store that offers Crowns. Have you tried restarting your console? And if this is from the first night. Sony didnt get around to adding the Crowns til sometime on Tuesday. Theyve been there since.

Indeed it can be fixed by restarting but it is still happening today soo decided to add it.

The no looting bug seems to be an extension of the lag / cannot attack etc. bug.

The NAT stuff is tricky (and actually a problem with the console and the internet itself.), and especially so if you have more than 1 console in the house, because you can't forward the same ports through the firewall to 2 consoles on the router. You can clear any 1 device locally, but 2 can't be done safely on IPv4 with normal home equipment.

I've switched over to IPv6 on my local network for this and it fixes it (the firewalls work differently). This is not an easy or possible fix for most people. I dunno if PS4 supports IPv6 yet (Xbone does it out of the box). You also need an IPv6 supporting router. it is ok if your ISP doesn't support IPv6. There are some ways for it to change back to 4 after it hits your router... but that is where it gets complicated choosing the right method.
