Pc char transfers to console servers

This seriously needs to be advertised to the console players who won't realize they're not on an even playing field until it's too late. I played PC version at release, and I don't care I missed the window to transfer over, or a discounted game.

What I am upset about is the uneven playing field this causes. You're allowing gold transfers? Really? Was any thought put into this? Duping was a big issue for PC and now you're allowing duping by players, and gold farmers, transferring to servers that should have been new and untarnished by issues PC had to work through? Leaderboards will be even more pointless since they'll be dominated by players with over a years headstart.

If only Sony wasn't such a terrible company, I would have refunded my preorder immediately after learning this.

lol how is this any different from starting a game a year late? Everyone who didn't start from the very beginning of a game is going to have an up hill battle. If you didn't think that there wasn't going to be a transferred offered then you should have done some thinking ahead.
When asked what he would do for a Klondike bar. Grand Moff Tarkin said "why I would blow up Alderaan."

Yep it is misleading consumers and taking advantage of console players prity much we just money bags for them to pick from.

In sense they should called it The Elder Scrolls - PS4 and XB1 Edition of newbie bashing! done by pc players. ps expect 24/7 bullying and market abuse. Enjoy your lovely stay

This is a non issue. 96.3 % of console players could give a funk.
I wish nothing but joy for everyone.

It's not different, but when I buy a year old mmo I expect that. When I'm buying an mmo that hasn't been released yet, and doesn't say anywhere about transfers having been allowed, then there's no way to know it without specifically searching for it or stumbling onto it on a forum.

The real winners here are gold farmers and players who buy from them. Because there's going to be millions of gold available the first hour of launch.

OK so I'm transferring from PC. I'm not somebody who played all year and I don't have hundreds of CP but yeah it's a big head start and it's going to be problematic, I think that's why they've put so many frustrating restrictions on transfers.

Where I agree with this argument is that they should have planned ahead for implementation of the champion system and console launch better, so there weren't people with hundreds of CPs on day one.

OTOH the transfer offer was made when console was delayed over a year ago, it isn't something it makes any sense to complain about now.

Yeah I'm going to be difficult to kill in PVP, I would be even if champion points didn't exist and I was starting fresh just from knowing the game, but OTOH I'm also going to be the guy crafting gear, answering questions, and backing you up if you're in my faction.

It isn't going to be all bad, the people who're there just to troll are going to get bored pretty fast and from what I've seen there really aren't that many people transferring compared to the console population, we're a tiny minority.

I'm transferring from PC to Xbox One and I only have 1 char and he's level 15. I invested so much time in trying out different races and classes that I would have two vet levels currently if I stuck with my two higher levels. But I wasted a year doing that A WHOLE YEAR, sigh such a waste of time on such an awesome game when you could be doing level 30 quests and getting good gear lol.

Make sure you don't develop an addiction to changing classes and race and wasting gold on respeccing, or you'll end up like I did. After making 56 chars and finally sticking with one it's a real sight to behold for a char changing addict.

Thanks for actually making a constructive post rather than trolling. I agree with you that there will have always been an advantage, knowing the game mechanics is an advantage I'll have as well. My big problem is mostly with the gold farmers/dupers. The economy for pc was a mess for a while from this and I can imagine console to be far worst.

Imagine gold farmers who already buy accounts and throw them away just to advertise in game, were presented with the opportunity to not only copy their gold to unlimited number of accounts then transfer them, but to also buy those accounts themselves for a discounted price.
