Why are you not allowing console copy pre-order pre download the game?

We were suppose to be able to pre-download according to your published info. Is this another case of miss information by ZOS?

Player accounts will be copied from PC/Mac to console on June 1, 2015, at 10AM EDT. Shortly after player accounts are copied from PC/Mac to the console of their choice, players will receive their digital game code for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited.

I purchased the console transfer. How do I download the game?

Players who purchased The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited for Console with account copy should have received instructions on downloading the game client via e-mail on May 21, 2015 with details about their account copy. The account copy will take place on June 1, 2015 at 10am EDT.

-Seems a better decision to have waiting until Friday or Monday to copy our accounts....

I have purchased the console transfer. When exactly will the move happen?

We will be sending your digital code for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited on June 8th. We understand the desire to download the game on your console of choice earlier. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a code to pre-load due to console limitations.

Upon logging into ESOTU on your console for the first time, you will be required to link your PlayStation™Network account/Xbox Live account to your ESOTU PC/Mac account in order to access your copied characters. I missed where they said we could pre-download. For a company that has trademarked "Soon" what do you think they mean by "Shortly"?? Hopefully, you did not read "Shortly" as "preload mania!!!!"

In this case, "Shortly" appears to be 8 days later. Still less than "Soon" but longer than "Immediately" (which is anywhere from 12 hours to a week)

This more likely has something to do with Microsoft and Sony then Zenimax.

Either way, you don't send out information until your certain.
I do believe it has to do with Zenimax, Microsoft and Sony BUT Sony and Microsoft have nothing to do with the wording and terms on the Zenimax website.

When you tell people they will be able to pre-install with the offer, regardless of what soon means, June 8 isn't a pre-install as everyone wont complete the pre-install that fast.

I'm upset not really for me cause it'll happen fast enough with my connection but the info and mis-leading articles and comments by ZOS staff is what has me up in arms.

As I help Xbox Support, this isn't going to make anyone's job easier.

Well, boo, from me too. I saw at least one person with a screen short down-loading a pre-order on the One so why can't we? My connection is supposed to be fast but it isn't really. Oh, well. It is what it is, I guess. At least they beat the spread on when we would be told the copy was done though why the hurry if we weren't getting adequate time to download the game.

Yeah just got my email on my transfer as well. This blows as my husband and myself both need to download this before the 9th. I can just see trying to download about 130 gig between the two of us at the same time. Not to mention we live in Sweden but play on US servers so launch will be around 5 or 6 a.m here. O_o Bunch of bs making us wait one day before especially after their first email specifically stated we would receive our code "shortly" after the transfer. Not a week. Whats with this console limitations crap? Funny thing is I just bought the Imperial Edition for my son in the US and he was able to download the game immediately. So the transfer people get the raw end of the deal. Guess thats what 20 bucks gets us. Why didn't they just state this right up front in the first place?

Yeah just about everyone I know has it downloaded on the Xbox one... except us with the copy...

I'm looking at a 10-12 hour DL (assuming Xbox live doesn't throttle it down a lot due to overload).

Not looking good.
