He just got sent an authorization code and can't find it. The only thing that can be done is contact their support, as it's not possible to change an accout's email.

I'm fairly sure I changed my E-mail at one point in time, it was a bit of a pain though since I didn't remember what my question was and I had to give them the answer to it without knowing what the question was.

You know, the question is stored on your account page. Just log in.
OP check your email that is linked to your account, then input the code, job done.
And please bring the LoL button back
Check your spam or something in your email, the code will be there.
