If you make this purchase, is it account wide? Do you get to craft dwemer gear on all your characters? Or is it for just one character?

I would think it is only for the character that reads it, just like it is in game.

only thing that is account wide in crown store are the pets, mounts, and costumes

    Hey there @TheMachineKiller,

The when you purchase the Dwemer Motif from the Crown Store, you'll receive an account-bound version of the legendary Dwemer Motif book. You can read this on a single character and they will learn the style.

If you purchase the book on the incorrect character, you can place the book in your bank and pick it up on your craftier character.

If they purchase the book on an incorrect character? Why does that matter? If it's account wide, then obviously it shouldnt matter what character they read it on? Also, does the book affect future created characters as well?

Heh no point in buying that book now since the dwemer scrap practically never drops anymore. They reduced the drop rate to 1/6th of what it used to be at the same time they put that item in the crown store.

Now you should expect to do about 10 delve runs per item you craft.

The book is account wide until it is read. Meaning if you put the book in the bank any of your characters can take it out. Once a character reads it only that character has the ability and the book goes away.

Nothing is account wide only server wide.

If I buy a mount on US i don't have access to it on EU. Which is why I will not buy any more crown store items I have no intention of paying twice for the same item.

This statement is kinda confusing, let me rework it a bit!

"When you purchase the Dwemer Motif from the Crown Store, you will recieve an account-bound version of the legendary Dwemer Motif book. Consuming the book unlocks the Dwemer style for the character reading it.

If you purchase the book with the wrong character, you can always deposit the Motif in your bank and retrieve it later with another character."

I think you misread. The book can only be read on one character, hence only one character learns the motif.
    Really, idk

Treat it like any other Motif, but with the "Bound" tag on it. Simple as that.

I assume the same is true for all crafting motifs sold in the Crown store?

They said account-bound, not account-wide. I presume this means you cannot sell it, but it will go to whichever character you choose to receive it with. Probably received via the in-game "mail" system.

They go directly in to the inventory of the character you are using when you purchase it. If you want another character to use it, you need to put it in the bank first.

In fairness to @ZOS_GaryA it's a fairly obvious question that you would expect a Forum Mod to know - as they will have certain areas they can respond to with the right/relevant answers.

When you ask a forum mod to justify why it is that 2.5% of a buff on a Templer attribute is only 14% of the total buff given to a lemon which is round and green because it has the Heavy Armour set on it's hands.....then clearly they will not know the answer.

Yep but there is nothing wrong with a mod saying , "thanks for your enquiry, I'll do my best to make the relevant ppl aware"
