Argonians are clearly in the worst spot right now. It's kind of ridiculous. I don't know what ZOS is thinking.
I posted this in another thread, figured it fits here... short answer is that I believe they are working on this NOW...
"Per this poll 37% of players will change their race given the option, plus the chance for another 6% depending on changes made to racials. We have a fairly large sample size now approaching 600 votes. Let's say that this represents the whole ESO community. Let's also assume, for arguments sake, that ESO has around 200,000 active players (no idea how many people dropped off since late last summer when we knew the numbers were around 700,000). Also say they charge $20 for a race change as well (could be more).
Cue math:
37% of 200,000 = 74,000.
$20 x 74,000 = $1,480,000.
+ a chance at the additional 6% of the player base... 12,000 x $20 = $240,000.
Based on these conservative assumptions... race changes are going in the game."
If they were true min-maxers they would have researched the racial abilities before creating a character.monkeymystic wrote: »I know several who quit since they didnt want to reroll a new char with better racials..

Lol they will never charge that much for a race change... if they change the racials then ask 20$ to change your now obsolete racials due to the change you will have 37% of the people pretty much quit the game...
This is why you don`t mess with racials... or if you EVER do, you provide a free racial change for anyone with a race affected by any change...
It was on ESO live, they TALKED about it, and said they were LOOKING at it, but like all things on ESO Live, I do not trust any of it until it happens. Cause there text summary after did not include it.
We all remember them clearly saying they are tracking all V14+ exp and we will all get CP matching our earned exp, and we never got that.

Fun Fact: In an early, closed beta, build races had Ultimates.
Another Fun Fact: Racial Ultimates were removed on the grounds that they would create racial option imbalances, making race selection have to much of an impact on gameplay.
Yet Another Fun Fact: Racial Passives have a large impact on gameplay.

Some racials (imperial and dark elf mainly) have a HUGE impact on dps/stats compared to the rest.
It's taken this long, and we have not seen either balanced racials or race change?
ZOS, when are you fixing this?
I know several who quit since they didnt want to reroll a new char with better racials..

Lol seriously ? Stupid reason to quit wonder how they do in reallife when something isnt going their way.

How about the 3% more HP and the decease resist?
How about the Quick Mend, receiving more healing?
Tell me what the Khajiit have close to that? HP regen? Yeah 120hp/s at best. Spotting stealth? Or a gimped Carnage.

Crit rate is crit rate. 3% HP is barely noticeable and quick mend isn't even that great because stacked templar heal with passive floor = almost max heal in one crit anyway even without quick mend and below 30% hp Restoration expert passive.
At least Khajit passive really give a clear view on the advantage the race hold, DPSing.

I can see this being serious in PvP where it does grant an advantage in a 1 v 1 but that one can somewhat be countered by number or team coordination.
Racial advantage isn't that big of an issue because LBR, most ESO MMO players are... bad.
So..., some people want racial changes because: don't care about the lore (they aren't TES fans) or/and, people don't want to reroll (don't want to invest more time in the game) or/and people didn't make any research before chose their race (if they made some research now, they would see DK Khajiits with magicka build, doing 17k dps single target..., it's all about CP, rotation, gear and... research).
And more, they'd rather have racial changes (pay for) instead of advocate racial balancing (or improvements in the game)?
Seriously, I do not see those people playing this game for much longer anyway.
Attorneyatlawl wrote: »You missed Nord (hp regen & sizable flat damage reduction), Redguard (3% stam back every 3 seconds while melee'ing, max stam racial), and high elf (magicka regen, max magicka, 4% damage to all elemental damage).... Oh, I guess between those and the two you listed we're already at the majority of the races being great... many are Breton fans too, as well as orc ones for the health, stam, and sprint speed.
If they were true min-maxers they would have researched the racial abilities before creating a character.monkeymystic wrote: »I know several who quit since they didnt want to reroll a new char with better racials..
If they weren't min-maxers then they wouldn't have cared.
They did talk about about allowing racial trait changes. You are not changing your race or looks, but swapping one racial pack (all traits from one race) with another.
But they are not going to even give that option until they do the racial trait review, in which all racial traits get a little balancing and that is not going to happen to after console release.
So the answer is
SOON

What about the Khajiit? Our only worthy passive, Carnage, got heavily nerfed on release and changed to something completely useless.
At least Argonians get Quick Mend (more healing received) and Argonian resistance (3% health and a resist on decease which if you do not know, only noobs do not have decease weapon procs in Cyrodiil).
Point at me a resource the Khajiit have? HP regen? if it was 7000 HP/S yeah it will be worthy, but is not.
Are you serious? Every class can use weapons. Especially now that stamina builds are in season, a weapon crit bonus is significant.p_tsakirisb16_ESO wrote: »zeitzbachrwb17_ESO wrote: »p_tsakirisb16_ESO wrote: »zeitzbachrwb17_ESO wrote: »Argonian master race. Where are the DPS advantage of the Khajiit? 5% Critical? Are you serious? If we had the OLD PRE NERF Carnage yes, but 5% WEAPON crit how can help a DK or a Templar?
