The truth behind all the nerf sorc thread

Many players think sorc are OP after 1.6, however, the update only buff sorc's pet which is useless, they also have nerf on BE, shield strength, light armor, blocking and dodge roll, why sorc still got all the hate?

1. All class having almost unlimited resource and good survibility now after 1.6, the only way to kill other players are with burst damage or they'll shield/cloak or heal themselves. Sorc and NB are designed to make burst damage that make them stronger in offense.

2. The game give Sorc and NB ability to escape from a fight, in a large battle when all the tanks are down, sorc and NB will escape. All NB go invisible but the sorc are running with all the blink blink which pull all the enemies and all the hate.

3. Ball of lightning, which I think it need a nerf, it shouldn't absorb unlimited spell projectiles.

4. 1.6 buff all stam builds, and most other classes are better in stam than magicka, which make most players stronger on physical but weaker on countering spell damage. Sorc are one of the only class that still better in magicka, so the fight between stamina and magicka becames all classes vs sorc's.

    I'm not sure anyone "thinks" sorcs are imbalanced. I think it's a fairly well known fact. Inevitably, the dev's will nerf hardened ward.

    all true, gankers just want the easy to kill sorcs back, thats all it is.

    So often I see people complaining about Sorcs, DKs and also NBs being too powerful, cannot be killed, and what not.. I got a question: why don't you guys just create one of these classes yourself? ;)

    well one difference I just wanna say. Sorcs can teleport away and there really isnt a solid counter (you can counter but it depends) where there are DETECT pots that can counter a NB from escaping period, and NB that are magicka cant avoid damage other than cloak / Stack healing ward, where if a sorc is caught he has his shields.

    I never see a problem with sorcs, when I face a sorc I cant kill I blame shields in general, but they cant nerf shields...because stamina builds have roll dodge which allows them to avoid massive amounts of damage (Maybe if roots stopped roll dodge?) idk... I feel like some stuff needs to have counters. Shields and roll dodges are just crazy right now...Classes are balanced (for me atleast) just certain mechanics need reworking (shields,rolling, some CC)

    That's the real problem, right there: burst damage is too high. Too much importance has been placed on active mitigation (in its 3 primary forms: magical damage shields, roll dodging, and block-casting) in order to not die in 1-2 seconds.
    Really we do it without like, the musical instruments. This is the only musical: the mouth. And hopefully the brain attached to the mouth. Right? The brain, more important than the mouth, is the brain. The brain is much more important.
