Having a huge system message pop up in the middle of my screen completely ruins the whole immersion aspect. I shouldn't even be getting this SPAM as I'm already paying for ESO. If you feel that you must SPAM me, do it like real spammers and just send it to me via in-game email.

This is incredibly cheezy, and real disservice to an otherwise beautiful game.

I do believe that this type of message is the worse an most annoying kind of message they could sent. I rather have an email sent to my account with this spam then that they put it full screen in the game (although an email would still be too agressive for my taste).

Also..why is it needed to broadcast it to my screen in different languages (atleast on EU-servers)?? just follow the client language setting.

My advice is to hard code an expiry time into notifications and sent all players a notification (in their client language) with the spam. Also, when the offer is over, the notification self deletes.

That way we can decide for ourself when we read it and more important, also to ignore it cause we allready know bout the offer and are not interested.
Through me you pass into the city of woe:
Through me you pass into eternal pain:
Through me among the people lost for aye.

I see that there were already threads and polls on this annoying "feature". Good. Glad I'm not the only want that hates this.

Or, if they feel the absolute need to have a cross-screen ad for this type of stuff, do it ONCE when the person logs in. It pops up on the screen right at log-in, the user is able to close the ad, and it does not appear again until the next time the person logs in. Or even give an option to dismiss the ad from ever showing up after the first log-in with the ad.
