ALESSIA BRIDGE

ok I am sorry but common ITS BEEN TOO LONG since this bug started and it should have been fixed by now the fact that you cannot shoot anywhere near the entrance on the Alessia bridge gate house is EXPLOITABLE and has been EXPLOITED since it was discovered. its only on the side facing the keep making it near impossible to counter siege when EP takes the bridge. PLEASE fix this already I have held my peace for long enough. all I ask is why this hasn't been fixed or mentioned at all yet? is it planned for a fix for imperial city? or do we just have to enjoy EP constantly farming using this exploit. and yes its an exploit which im sure should now be bannable due to the new terms.

Yeah I noticed that the first time I joined a fight at that bridge, way back in the first month the game went live. There is simply no spot that a siege engine can be placed where it can hit anything but the area in front of the keep side entrance. Even if they could, that bridge is unbreakable. AD side can't hit the guys up top or inside or behind, and EP can just sit there and throw ballistae bolts and boiling oil down on AD as much as they like. I'm pretty sure the EP side of the bridge does not have this problem.

Not saying it's bad to have a chokepoint like a bridge to fight over. It's just that the way it's set up right now makes it almost impossible to dislodge EP from it.

And as I recall, the choke point between Roebeck and Ash favors DC as well. Though not nearly to the degree that the bridge favors EP.

There's another bridge a little further down.

You simply go across that one, completely undefended, and pop up on the opposite tower closer to Sejanus and set up siege. You then kill the EP on the other tower and move forward to Sejanus laughing at the AP you just got.

It's very simple when you're not smashing your head against a brick wall #puglogic

just take a spec ops team and either cross the river below or take one of the bridges to the south and flank the enemy.

Do this while having the rest of the team distract the enemy at the front.

How is no suitable spot to set siege to hit a spot you want to hit a bug as opposed to something called terrain design? You do realize it's the same on the sej side of the bridge - and actually fewer spots to set siege cuz of the steeper slope?

You're right, bolt escape lets sorcs man multiple siege faster.

I actually don't mind it all that much. Just seems kind of odd to have a position like that that so heavily favors the enemy so close to one of the keeps. If any adjustments are to be made, then it just needs smoothed out a tiny bit. Just so it's not quite such a strong holdout position.

Have actually seen multiple AD players get siege into places (mainly fire pot trebs) that can hit into that hallway and have gotten good hits on our group as were getting ready to push out. Also im fairly certain that on the sej side there isnt a single place you can setup and hit the bridge. We just sack up and make a push in. If we wipe we wipe its a game.
