My question to Paul Sage has been removed. Why?

From the livestream:
Q&A with Paul Sage begins around 1:01:50 At aprox 1:00:16 Sage begins to talk about NPCs noticing transformed werewolves and Stage 4 vampires. "Guards will not like that behavior."
At 1:14:44 my question is asked. My question was:
Will you make available the ability to "hide" one's vampirism so that a vampire may look like they did BEFORE becoming vampires either through the use of a potion, an item, or a new skill?

Sage's answer is, "I don't know that we're ever going to offer that except through maybe disguises or costumes. But maybe disguises or costumes arethe way to go. Part of the reason that is so people can tell who vampires are on the battlefield and, you know, so the populace can tell who the vampire is. So..." and he trails off and ends there.

I then went on to ask Sage WHY he felt that it was important for all players in PvE and PvP to be able to visually identify vampires. Now the entire post itself appears to have been removed. I have received no message from ZoS telling me why they did this or informing me that posing such a question is a violation of some rule for posting here. What gives ZoS?

Probably a conspiration against you. I suggest you contact the police.

*Conspiracy: I hope nobody was injured from that vocabulary mistake.

The visual appearance is irrelavent anyway in PvP with this:
    DEUTSCHE PTS-PATCHNOTIZEN v1.5

    Guild
    • Fighters Guild
      • Evil Hunter: This ability now highlights vampire player characters in Cyrodiil.
      • Silver Bolts: This ability no longer stuns undead or Daedra who dodge the attack. We also fixed an issue where this ability couldn’t be reflected.

Not like they will have to wait for skill fire or to see the whites of our eyes.

Quite certain it's their unofficial way of "thinning the herd."
Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

    Earn it.

IRL'ing for a while for assorted reasons, in forum, and in game.
I am neither warm, nor fuzzy...
Probably has checkbox on Customer Service profile that say High Aggro, 99% immunity to BS

Not everyone uses the evil hunter morph and even less people keep it up all the time. I believe it's far from irrelevant.

Edit: omg omg he wrote "irrelavent", burn him!

The thing is, if they are going to start creating skills that light up vampires (does it do the same to werewolves?) then there is even less reason for vampires to have to look glaringly obvious. While I'm pretty sure this is being introduced to combat those sneaky vamps wearing concealing armor (and not at all taking into account a very popular add-on) I'm actually fine with it. Because it SHOULD require a specific skill to spot us out and know to bring the flame damage to combat us.

Those things probably get moderated all the time. If they have nothing to say about the matter, I'd guess it makes sense to remove the question altogether. Also, if somebody at least cared to remove the question manually, you have your answer right there it seems.

If that's what happened it's high handed and rude and an extremely poor way to treat a paying customer.

If it makes you feel any better, he only answered softball questions as all of the tougher questions, especially the PVP questions, were ignored like an unwelcome guest at a party.
