Why you are losing subs

Just thought you ought to know!

- Every single time you patch something goes wrong; FPS bug, broken skills, broken launcher etc etc whats the point of PTS if you aren't even going close to using for the very reason it was created!
-Exploiters in PVP be it troll camps, getting past closed gate broken ability abuse or general exploit abuse
-PvP has fast become repetitive and very boring add some other options with close world PvP in ASAP
-Faction Labels not appearing at all until its too late in PvP
-Population imbalance in PvP
-Rollbacks in PvP
-Lag in PvP
-Mass queues in PvP
-Lack of balance in PvP
-Buggy Siege and abilities in PvP and PvE
- We have been waiting on A LOT of content that should have been around in release; Imperial city, Poisons to make mushroom herbs viable, Jewel crafting anyone? Thieves guild/ Dark brotherhood etc etc
- You don't listen to the community we asked for a PvP arena we get a PvE arena for one minor example
- Game was arguably more stable in beta than on a patch day
-Upper Craglorn was a joke of an update
-Adding a new trait with a 30 day research timer was an awfully cheap way to try and "extend" current content
-Graphical bugs that cause you to need to reload your character
-The fact that for 2 days people have had to run the game via the ESO.exe other than launcher, really sucks if you hadn't been able to update.
-Random D/Cs when things get too much in a small area in both PvP and PvE
- 1 new bunch of set gear and 2 Level cap raises in less than 6 months
- A complete lack of transparency from the Devs/CS reps as to when problems occur and your general game mechanics slaps theory crafters serious and casual in the face
- Bugs in the Guild Store and Guild UIs
- Bugs in various Quests
- Bugs with mount noises sometimes they are there sometimes not
- Infinite loading screens
- Various errors and bugs iirc error 201 or 301 the CS rep told me to spam logging in to fix my problem which after 90 minutes I gave up (3rd time i was hit by this error locking me out for more than 24 hours and i was not offered free time costs you nothing and keeps you subs)
- The fact that when ESO is running smoothly you actually feel lucky and like there is impending sense of something bad about to happen
- THERE IS VERY LITTLE TO DO AT MAX LEVEL AND YOU GET BORED AWFULLY FAST

I run a trade guild on DC side the lowest population of the three factions and I kick about 10 in-actives DAILY that is a lot of people leaving your game 2% of my capacity everyday is impossible to keep up with recruitment.

I am more than certain I missed a few so please feel free to add them in! Should the nine divines decide for a dev to actually comment on this thread asking me to elaborate on said issues. How about you check your bug reports we all make them and I'm almost positive you would have mountains of unread reports sitting there.

Moved from Customer support so you CS and Devs won't take notice of it here very nice and thank you for further nailing my points to the wall! let my bullet points of general ESO crappiness go to waste excellent work ZOS, really top notch!

didn't you hear, they had a summit? everything is going to be ok.
    /sarcasm off.

yeah i've had this lock out time to think about all those things you posted and more. even my help requests have gone unlistened to... i said to call back any time last night, that i was going to be up extremely late anyway. apparently 11pm est is bed time for ZOS tho because i got an email at 11pm that said it was "too late to call."

i really believed in this game through multiple betas, early launch, all the additions and changes ...but this is a joke. checking out at 11pm and ignoring the customer's request entirely is far to indicative of literally every mechanical issue you mention. it really is a clear indication that they have no idea what the problem is, so instead of resetting the server, we are just getting ignored. i have 5 hours of waiting on hold, multiple emails, and dozens of posts right now and i think i just realized its not worth bothering over...and that makes me sad.

it's like the oil change coming... that was asked for since literally day 1 and it's only NOW recognized as a mechanic that may possibly need a change so they're testing it on PTS for a month or maybe two and we'll see it soon in game maybe...
exactly how they are handling the current launcher lock out... it's not a problem maybe, it must just be players don't know what they are doing and let's ignore it and maybe hopefully it goes away the next update when ever that is possibly.

Thank you for the insightful post, they have made their own bed and will be F2P by the new year I imagine.

Right...notice how the F2P prediction has moved from 6 months of their start date, to the new year. Wow, you're predictions are as accurate as the GOP's!

Feedback is good but not everybody experiences the listed issues nor dislike the content you criticise ;)

Feedback return (or non-return I should say) from Z is frustrating, I know. I'm a positive thinker and sometimes to listen better, you need to remain silent ;)

You know I really did used to be a fanboi. Have played TES since Daggerfall and loved it all the way yet to find a game better than Morrowind and not sure that I will but ZOS have just butchered a renowned title and continue to do so.

Any predictions of F2P are stupid, nobody knows what the future will be for subs.

They often edit threads to provide more of a useful discussion, this is a good thing as it suggests there's some interest.

I herewith formally request all mentions of sub numbers, be it their total, or rising/declining nature, be accompanied by the citation of a reliable source.

    Well just sayin...

If I was in charge of the marketing side of an MMO I couldn't wait to release my sub numbers if we were on the rise, on the other side of the coin if it was on the decline would be trying to hide it like the dickens.

We all know how fickle the MMO market is post wow and how they flock to the latest and greatest.

I'm pretty sure the reason they moved this from customer support is because you're not asking for feedback or presenting constructive criticism in any fashion. You're simply listing a bunch of problems, stating them as though they affect everyone (they don't), and claiming it as factual reasons the game is losing subs with nothing to back up that information.

This doesn't belong in CS forums and, on any other forum, would have been locked or deleted right away. I'd say you should take it as a measure of good faith that they're allowing topics like these to remain open so that people can discuss (read: continue to present "facts") it.

As for me: I'm not so blind as to not acknowledge the problems the game has. I've been subbed for about half of the time the game has been up due to taking a break for a month after every month of sub thanks to running into frustrating problems.

    These topics don't help anything.

I never understood why people who unsub, feel the need to become all emo and try an explain to everyone else why they unsubbed. If you don't like the game for.... whatever reason, (it doesn't matter), then stop playing and find something else to do. Problem solved. But coming on the forum and QQing about it, isn't going to generate much understanding or symphathy for you. We all know what problems the game has, and most of us seem to be living with them until the devs can fix said problems.
