What is the highest spell damage one can reach if he gets all gear and enchant for spell damage and is there a hard cap for how much spell damage you can get?

✭✭✭✭✭Dunno about hardcap, but Ive had it somewhere in the mid 140s if I remember correctly. At this point, you sacrifice SO many other stats just to get a couple more points in spelldmg that it is seriously NOT worth it.
IMO you should just hit around the softcap and be happy there. Personally I have it at 137, but I feel it might be a bit too high still so if I drop say 5 more pts I can up my health or any of my regens.
