I logged in a couple weeks ago and played a bit. My guild is have a big event so I went to log in today, there's an update and it then started the whole cinematic and everything. I suddenly have a creations screen....I have no characters. Pretty upsetting to say the least. I had names I woke up at 4am to get and all that fun stuff

Have you make sure that you try to login to the correct megaserver? (NA or EU)
Sometimes our launcher can prompt you to login to the PTS by default.
