a game that has a feel of a typical elder scrolls game. LOLIs anybody playing this CURRENT version of the game to the fullest in terms of maxing out levels etc to make their characters the best they can be for when the game is actually not a beta version? I feel like this is still a beta. With the dlc's coming out previewed at quakecon thatll somewhat make it more of a full game.
In this thread ~ "LOL" means disagree.
Beta... I do not think that word means what you think it means. That and "dlc" MMOs constantly evolve and respond to the player base, adding new features, changing old ones; apparently you don't like that.
Aside from bug fixes, which everyone wants, what is it that you want, exactly?

Yup, and I want a Snickers bar for dinner. LOL.
I'd agree that on the whole it doesn't feel very much like the single-player games (the whole PvP thing tends to ruin the TES vibe...) but really, there are moments, there are roadside encounters, there are tableaux, there are side quests, stories, which would fit right in to the single-player experience without translation.
But I think that it works on its own merits, and that it's shortsighted to get stuck on that old "it's not like I expected" canard. Time to like it for what it is, or else leave it for what it isn't. Every game contains compromises. Every game.

well if pvp bothers you, then wouldn't every player interaction or group activity bother you?
I don't personally feel pvp detracts from the game, it's just an opponent that is more dynamic than the AI.
