Does 5 piece song of lamae set work? I never noticed it working

I made a 5 piece song of lamae set lvl 38 light armor because the description that below 30% health it does a lot of magic damage and returns health seemed really awesome.

But in the two weeks i used it , i have never ever seen it work. Even tested against a few wolves, not fighting back, and i noticed nothing.

Anyone seen this set work? I would like to know.

(made a new set lvl 46 yesterday, this time 5 piece seducer and 3 piece lamae, this combo does work)

It used to work, had a set maybe 3 weeks ago before I switched to something else. At VR 12 the heal is not very big. There is a graphic when it goes off.

I made a few new items now i am a v1 and my health regen is 12 as a vampire in stage 4

How can this be, i have gloves, legs, boots and belt of song of lamae and also a flame staff and restoration staff, so the set shows 5/5

I should have 17 health regen on top of whatever it is i should have as a stage 4 vamp with the undead perk.

This is a proper WTF moment, 12 regen with the set means it does nothing at all.
What a waste of mats and time.

I dont know how to fix this, anyone an idea?

Vampire health regeneration, even with the passive that helps boost it a little, is significantly atrophied. Your health needs to come from any absorb-health abilities you have, not from regen.

You are saying that because i am a vampire the song of lamae bonus is also reduced by 75%, so giving me like 4 regen?

All health regeneration is impacted. Set bonuses aren't an exception.

I currently use a set but it doesn't work, seems like a huge waste of rare crafting materials.

LOL i totally forgot i ever made this post. In the meantime ZOS decides to be a bit nicer to vamps, i think my health regen (now the passives are fixed) is something like 250.

I remember running around with 8 health regen for months, but because of green dragon blood this was never a problem
