Why are solo players about to get segregated from group players?

Cool there is new solo player area. That is exciting I like to play a game by myself. Why should I complain that they are separate the two zones Its separating it is differentiating. It would be boring if there are a bunch of adventure zones. You should mix it up. Adventure zones here and solo zones there. Its like the delves, public dungeons and group dungeons. I like delves but I hate when people come in and mess up my flow of battle. Public dungeons is best to play multiple people because the bosses are a little bit tougher. So partner up with some friends and fight on. The group is made specifically for groups duh but just the group you are with which makes dungeon more fun. You do not have the random person messing with the flow of the game. Its like real life I do not want to have to have a group for every thing sometimes I want to adventure by myself which natural. People should quit complaining and just embrace it first.

Think about your experience playing 1-49 (50). What were you all doing? Quests? Most of you were. This entailed taking the quest and moving along the story in sections till it ended. Next quest and so forth. In between this you would stroll over there because there could be a chest, lore book, crafting material, discovery icon, something you wanted to look for, explore and find.

Now enter per-nerf Veteran level zone and try doing the same. Well, my partners did not want to go that way, one left the group, the other logged off and I am half way through a quest. Look for someone else on this part of the quest. Sighs. I want to go and explore over there but my partner wants to go the other way. I want to open that chest but the other person got it first. I want to collect that ore, get attacked and die because my partner wandered into that building to get that chest. None of those I grouped with are on the same phase of the quests I was on.

Nothing was easy in respect to what each needs to do in a zone. That is to say, do exactly what one was able to do in the 1-50 zones. It simply did not work. It is the nature of people to want to go in their own directions when venturing the great outdoors. Dungeons are another matter all together, where grouping works. ESO made the most fundamental mistake having a mega server and expecting anyone to be able to function as a group in out door zoned areas.

Just wanted to let everyone know: Jessica Folsom just confirmed in QGN's Twitch chat that you CAN, in fact, group up in Wrothgar. So it's not a "solo" zone in the sense some people were thinking.
Really we do it without like, the musical instruments. This is the only musical: the mouth. And hopefully the brain attached to the mouth. Right? The brain, more important than the mouth, is the brain. The brain is much more important.

    Well, and here it comes.

Players who cried about difficulty of Veteran zones are now crying for new content, because Veteran zones became trivial and soloable in 2 days.

Veteran zones were the solo endgame before the nerf. Cries of soloplayers made it trivial as it is now. It is your fault that you have nothing to do.

Yep, it didn't take a genius to see this happening.

    Oh well.

The game is already so packed with solo-content. The recent VR nerf now makes a huge chunk of end-game soloable.

Zeni -needs- more group content, so that should have priority, for sure.

Can they make content that is both soloable/groupable, and be a challenge? I doubt it, unless it was instanced.

Looks like solo PvE players are being kicked to the curb. The vast majority of content released since launch has been group/raid/PvP.

    Kia ora

Play as you want, yea right!

I have quite a few issues with trying to love and play this game, I’m don’t want setup an opening for Trolls here. I don’t PVP I’m to slow now, Don’t insult me and tell me because I’m 65 and slow I should give up playing online. Playing solo while in a chat room with others is still social gaming to me

First I play the role of a char dropped into the world, Flip Flop Spat.
I know nobody I’m not known at all, I have to make my way in a world from nothing, to do this it’s really really hard, crafting is a grind, enchanting is bloody impossible, money is a real struggle as is getting regen of resources, level 1 I got off three casts, maybe three and a half, level 50/V1 I get the same three to three and a half casts. If you want to play a char in this world and make your own stuff (remember Flip Flop Splat, dropped solo in the world) it’s not really viable at all, you can’t do it less you a flea in a fart twitch player = full blown MMO with a pretty good skill level. Never mind I didn’t really mean to go down that track, sorry I’m disappointed and angry the RPG seems like it’s dropped out of this game I guess because most of the Devs are from MMO backgrounds.
It seems high keyboard skills are the only way to negate the dangers of this world.

BUT it seems really weird to me, I get to ColdHarour and do all the quests get V1 armor drops (I’m think choice makes the big fight a little easyer), NOT, I go to the venders and low and behold they don’t sell V1 enchants, you have to get pass Molog Bal first. These forced solo fights are setup to the point that if your gear, food and potions are not up to par your gonna fail unless your a twitch player that plays like a flea in a fart (I DON’T play that fast any more). So for me the difficulty slider maybe the answer but I have no idea how many years that will be, sorry I don’t feel like paying monthly while I wait till they get round to it, at this point my game is from 1 to 50 with a lot of struggle to play the role the way I like. It’s not etched in stone the an MMO has to be one way or an other, can be how ever the creators create it and still be MMO

I know it's hard to cater for every bodies play style, but if they taking our money they need to try

I honestly don't understand the desire to play solo in a massively multiplayer online game. The main appeal of a MMO is that it's got a lot of other people playing alongside with you in your world. Why play a multiplayer game if you want a singleplayer experience?

Not grouping is not the same as a single player experience. That should be an easy enough distinction to follow. An MMO simply means a lot of people are included in a shared world experience of one kind or another. It may include grouping but there is nothing in the definition of MMO that requires it or even implies it.
