Fishing Qestions!

So recently I have taken to fishing. Are fish used for anything? I have been pulling up some bags of loot like enchantment mats which is good, but I was wondering if they are used for cooking or something?

Also, Sometimes when I catch a fish, usually a green or blue, they don't appear in by bag. Is this a known bug?

The fish can be sold, but can't be used for anything. Quite a few people have complained about that, no reply to it though.

Rare fish should appear in your achievements when you catch them, but there have been bugs with that.

And yeah the gunny sacks are nice.

Odd for a game with such a rich crafting system that fish wasn't included in some way.

Thanks for the reply. It would appear that they are in my achievements. Odd that I don't get the item in my bag though and holy crap is there a load of fish to catch.

I better get to it... $:\$

Well yeah, that's pretty much what everyone says.

We all thought fish should be in provisioning, and that it's odd you don't actually get the rare fish. Literally, there are dozen's of threads saying exactly that.

Apparently fish were used in provisioning during the beta but got removed at some point. Hopefully since they're redoing the provisioning system, they'll include them again. I have stacks of them stored in case something like that ever happens.

You don't actually get to keep the green & blue fish, you just get credit towards the achievement. I wish we did get to keep them, since some of them have a high value and would make fishing a more appealing pass time. Maybe even profitable.
