Quitting, and my reason for it.

Ok firstly, this is my opinion like.. if you don't agree you know, good for you.
Anyway, yeah, i'm cancelling my sub, maybe it's just me, maybe i just don't have the time, but i find the grind from VR1 - VR12 horrific, i played from the early access, iv'e remained optimistic about the game since, and i still am quite optimistic, i just can't justify paying $15 a month for something that immediately feels like a chore.
- perhaps i'm lazy, perhaps i don't have the patience, but my very honest opinion is that once you hit level 50 there is absolutely nothing to do other than crafting, PvP, and Questing.
You can't dungeon adequately at VR3 (my level)
There's not enough to do, i have every motif, i have maxed out woodworking, blacksmithing, and clothier, i have a ton of gold with nothing to spend it on, PvP is repetitive and annoyingly stupid (idk about you, but my faction won't stop zerging alessia)
and than there is my main point, there is simply too much of a grind between VR1 and VR12, there is no way i'm going to be sitting there for hours at a time doing absolutely nothing but questing, it does my head in, after a while all the NPC's start sounding similar, the quests are basic... half the time i can't even have my friends help me because of phasing.
i was so excited for this game, and to be brutally honest, it let me down.
i'm still optimistic about the future as it's still a young MMO, but i guess i just can't hack it.

✭✭✭Sad to see you are unhappy. I hope you find better moving on. A game really shouldn't evoke this much consternation and imho if it does then it might be better for such folks to find other forms of entertainment.3 -

CheesyDaedra✭✭✭About the levelling, craglorn grinding is one of the greatest things of this game, i literally went from V2 to 50% V5 in 4 hours gametime, now i came back to the questing to unlock the V6-10 zones :QDo you mind? I'm busy doing the fishstick, it's a very delicate state of mind.0 -

I know several people that have quit because of the VR grind, it didn't bother me but I know more people it did bother than it didn't.0 -

Yep the quest grind is horrible, i've known quite a lot of ppl and friends who have quit cause of it. They have also stated that if that part of the game was removed they would come back in a shot.
Patch 1.2.3 nerfed the game....
Zergballing wrecked pvp......

Giving honest feedback is not the problem, you might want to change your title from "Quitting" to just "Honest Feedback" and leave it at that, if you don't want to have this thread closed. It's just against forum rules to post "I quit" threads.0 -
