Bethesda Software - A Subsidiary of Zenimax

Bethesda Games I own.
Console: Oblivion, Fall Out 3, Fall Out: New Vegas, and Skyrim
PC: Morrowind and ESO (of course)

That is a total of 6 products. Of those products, which one is a completed product? I mean -- no longer suffers from bugs I am only talking about the vanilla product and official additional content. Add-on content created by the modding community does not count.

Bethesda is ambitious. But, as far as I know, they have never finished a game. They have merely moved on to the next project.

Is there a point to this post?

Just looking for opinions. Do you feel that Bethesda completes games? Completed games is very different from completed projects. They seem to take a "project" approach. As a result, most of their games are abandoned in varying stages of completion.

I view ES games as more of a platform for modders. I can't say that I have completed a vanilla ES game since before morrowind.

Yes they complete games. I have and played all the games you listed all on PC. All finished, played for hundreds of hours and moved on. Never a major issue ever. Even played the expansions when available. All complete. Yep. Next pointless topic.

Wait, shouldn't the title read... Zenimax - A Subsidiary of Bethesda Software? Bethesda didn't create this game so I have no idea why this is relevant.

    This.

Also, Bethesda Game Studios is the developer. Bethesda Softworks is a publisher.

(my silly point: Bethesda Softworks is the publisher for those games, not the developer. Fallout New Vegas was developed by Obsidian, and BGS had nothing to do with ESO. The same people were not involved in all of these products.)

Zenimax Media is the parent company. Bethesda, Bethesda Softworks, and Zenimax are subsidaries of Zenimax media. The point he is trying to make is every saying Bethesda should have made the game instead of Zenimax because they could make a more complete game. Unfortunately Bethesda has never released a game that wasn't full of bugs or problems or complete on release. Thats what he's saying.

and thats why you saw no problems with them. I played all the same games and have hit progression blocking bugs, crashes, screen freezes, glitches ect. But on the same end I have hit almost no bugs with ESO where as others have. Luck of the draw.

No he is right, Zenimax owns Bethesda who is the publisher, then they created Zenimax Online i think in 2006. I could google it but i dont wanna.

Fact is all games no matter how polished they are, have Bugs.

I guess the idea of what constitutes a completed game is changing.

The day there is a game that is 100% bug free, none of us will be alive as Skynet will be born, im suspecting Google will have a part on that, and the machines will take over. THEN i bet even the first Terminators have a few bugs...you know shooting each other a few times thinking they were humans, walking off cliffs like lemmings. I bet Skynet even gets it wrong a few times.
