A horse just paid me 151 coins?

I turned in a quest to set a horse free and he gave me 151 gold...No wonder he was being beaten, he was stealing coins from his master. Also, why couldn't there have been an option to make him my horse?

P.S. Horse paying me gold is like saying "Goodbye" to a corps...

He is in Rivenspire. One of the Public dungeon quests.

I'd go wash my hands, doubt the horse was keeping those coins in it's mouth...

Yeah, I nearly fell off my chair, lol. I expected lordly and ancient and wise, like in every darned eco-cartoon you see; what I got was my friendly neihbourhood Irish pub bartender. Loved it.

Wasn't there one in a you tube vid in coldharbor where bots were repeating over and over in their level 3 garb? Or maybe they were all different bots boxing the same quest ... hundreds of them

Well, the animals in Tamriel has some devious plans going on. I'm starting to wonder if the true deception of Molag Bal lies in an army, dormant and waiting to strike. Like the Skeever I killed the other day, he had a sword on him. And his friend had a helmet. And I've also killed some tigers and wolves with armour items and coins on them.

I think we're being tricked here. Molag Bal's true intention was to keep us placid, in the dark, pose himself as a "threat" as he can't be killed. And in secret, he arms the animals of Tamriel to the teeth (literally). So when he returns he have an army waiting for him.

*dons a tin foil hat* They are coming, they are coming! The end is nigh!

I just figured that the rats ate the sword. Clearly a skeever can swallow a sword whole and after I slice them up with my sword I find the sword or armor in their stomach. 151 gold from a horse however, that is a different story.

The story would be how the horse got the money in the first place. And what intentions it have of using it. Oh my .... They are inside the political agendas as well! That explains it, the Majority Whip is a Donkey! Wait, erm, I might have my stories mixed up here *shuffles through the notes* Ah, yes, here we are, the horse is in league with the skeevers and the wolves and the tigers and all that. He's their "coin master" though, being a horse he's not too smart. He mistook you for being part of the resistance ... or .... wait a minute, those coins might have been a token, a secret code to initiate the plan. How can we be sure that the OP isn't in league with the horse and his animal friends? There are some evil trickery going on here.

Heh. Narnia wasn't even meant to have humans. Aslan didn't make any because he knew what a PITA they were in other .. worlds/dimensions/whateverthehell. He didn't want any messing up Narnia. When he appointed the first human king to watch things for him while he was away, Aslan made the former cart driver PROMISE to not treat the Animals like humans did in his world.

Met the horse on my main, I was nearly Rolling on the floor when the quest completled, for the reason OP mentionned, that was a very awkward moment in ESO.

All of them are horse breeders but none of them can feed my horse. Plus, they don't have any special horses for sale whatsoever.

And yeah, I was so disappointed that he didn't wanna be my horse, paying me 151 gold instead
