    Despite this thread being somewhat useless, I'm a fan of having POLLS on forums, makes it much easier to gauge player responses !

    Problem with a lot of the polls I've seen is that I have to vote to see the result and often I have no experience or no view on the poll subject.

    For example, a poll on how hard vet bosses are, I voted they are fine as they are and I'm only level 34.

    People need to add a not applicable type option.

    I like them for one reason: If you look at the poll results and then read the comments, you can clearly see how the vocal minority tries to dominate a thread and make it look like their opinion is in the majority.

    I would guess, most of the time, the amount you like a poll is directly proportional to the amount it agrees with your position.

    I don't think they would ever base a decision off of these polls. I'd say that 90+ percent of players do not even come here. They do provide a means to get a possible glimpse of what the readers of these forums think.

    I invoke a poll from time to time, nothing regular, but I find that they can help me clear up some ideas I or others are talking about on these community forums.

    Sometimes people get out of hand with them, yes, but then again it is a option in the thread menu so....

    I say if you want to make a poll, shine it up and put it out there.
